Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Some people contend that young people shouldn't participate in sporting events since they can often cause them emotional distress. Due to a number of reasons that I shall discuss in this article, I vehemently disagree with this viewpoint. I believe that youngsters should participate in sporting events as it helps them in growing.

First off, participating in sports is the ideal way for kids to be healthy and active. It also helps these teenagers build their bodies and their physical power. Sports are among the most engaging methods to acquire the exercise our bodies need. Particularly young people dislike going to the gym or merely running. As a result, individuals frequently find enjoyment in their physical pursuits. As a result, these kids would develop obesity and other ailments from leading inactive lifestyles. Especially if they were prohibited from competing in sporting events based only on their mental health.

Contrarily sports are actually the finest approach to learning how to deal with the emotional scars that individuals who favor talking about have. Each sport around the world starts by instructing its participants on how to handle defeat's annoyance with composure. Therefore, it is crucial for young people to learn coping mechanisms for such circumstances. Lessons learned on the playground will undoubtedly aid in coping with challenging situations in the future. Additionally, these activities can help develop a variety of abilities, including leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making. These are all essential for leading a good life.

To sum up, it is true that difficulties and losing games could cause some mental tension in young people's brains. But those pressures are insignificant in light of the advantages sports offer. But most importantly, such a feeling also adds a significant lesson to young people's life.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

In recent years, young people have been subjected to rising levels of stress. Some say that sports tournaments are the primary cause of this pressure. They think that teenagers shouldn't be allowed to attend certain activities. However, I disagree with this assertion. I don't think that prohibiting children from attending sporting events is the best way to handle this problem.

Teenagers participating in sports events should be encouraged, thus prohibiting them from doing so is not only unwise but also harmful. Young people's interest in sports is thought to be sparked by sports competitions. Sports may become less appealing to young people if minors are prohibited from competing in sporting events. Thus, many young people might not be able to understand the significance of participating in sports. As a result, a growing number of young people may have a range of health issues as an outcome of their inactivity. In addition, fierce competition is a reality in today's world. If young people are not taught how to deal with the demands of sports activities, they may be more prone to tight settings in their work lives.

Furthermore, competing in sports is not the main cause of youth stress; rather, it is a useful way to let stress out. The majority of young people in today's society are under stress from their academics or jobs. The simplest approach for people to relieve strain after work or school is to participate in team sports. They can develop their sense of unity and interaction during athletic tournaments. Additionally, they can enhance their interpersonal skills and establish new acquaintances. It must be acknowledged that competing will undoubtedly put participants under a little bit more stress. However, this might be seen as a beneficial habit for young individuals to develop their mental health.

To sum up, young people do not typically experience emotional stress from sports tournaments. As a result, restricting child participation in athletic events is not a viable solution to the stress issue facing young people today.

Band 8.5 IELTS Essay

For the majority of young people, sports are undoubtedly the most important category. A small group of people holds the opinion that juvenile growth is harmed by participating in competitions. While others hold the opinion that putting pressure on adolescents to compete in events is essential for advancement. In light of my insight, young people ought to be urged to seize the chance to practice by taking on other young athletes.

Basketball players, for example, can never reach their full potential without playing against other players. Additionally, competitions compel children to lead more moral lives. They will eventually be motivated to act more responsibly as a result of this. They will become self-disciplined and have a sense of purpose as a result.

Adolescence must be taught how to be a well-rounded member of society. And arguably the most practical approach is rivalry in sports. As a result, denying kids the opportunity to play sports against one another is undoubtedly having negative effects. Since a deficiency in problem-solving abilities and practical experience will be detrimental. Particularly considering how young pupils are being given more responsibility as they mature.

Without a doubt, playing sports has several benefits. They encourage children's dreams and resolve first. The youth may get the chance to brush up on sports maneuvers while under the pressure of competitions. They can also enhance their capacity for problem-solving. Any part of life requires logical thinking, which can be honed through a game like checkers or chess. Children who have played chess before, for instance, seem to score better than average students in math and qualitative analysis. However, preventing kids from going to competitions only prevents them from becoming more accomplished adults.

In conclusion, the benefits of adolescence participating in sporting events are crucial to kids' overall development. As a result, more events and competitions should be held by the public and academic systems to improve future performances.
