Band 8 IELTS Essay

The 21st-century generation feels the need to be independent. They do not like to ask for money from their parents and hence, go on to work while studying. The majority of graduate and undergraduate students apply for jobs from home while they are still in school or college. Although the focus should be on studies, they try to get a job to earn some pocket money. This essay will explain why this is occurring and propose several solutions to the problem.

Nowadays, the cost of education is very high. There are families which do not earn enough to support their education. This makes the students earn some extra money to support their education and other financial needs. A job is the only method for them to pay for their education, as attending any of the universities is prohibitively expensive. For example, while some undergraduates are capable of paying that cash, others are unable to, forcing those in financial need to work to stay in their institutions. Some students are helpless in covering their contracts. This makes them go for a job that makes them more stressed and less focused on their studies.

The majority of the students apply for jobs as they feel the need to become independent. More and more undergrads have been considering their own accumulated funds when applying to universities, even though they earn their cash through their own choices of occupations. Since they will be separated, they will no longer require financial assistance from their parents. Independent students want to work to earn money, but they also want to study diligently.

Despite the rapid change in the effectiveness of learning varsity subjects and the busyness of a large number of undergrads while schooling is in progress, universities should provide scholarships for financially disadvantaged students who have special formation skills. Furthermore, they should suggest a work location to independent students for their specialization with limited work time. These remedies will not only help undergraduates study more efficiently, but they will also assist them in sticking to one path.

In conclusion, most university students want to earn cash at an early stage. This disruption is the result of financial constraints and the freedom to choose performances. I believe that education is required for students to gain knowledge. However, if the students can focus on their studies and earn money also, it will be great for their future.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

Part-time work is becoming more prevalent among teenagers these days. They are, however, prone to being stressed and, as a result, have less time to study. This essay will discuss the rationale for the problem of working while studying, as well as potential solutions.

To begin with, the reasonably high cost of education and the independent lifestyle of many students may be the driving forces behind their decision to work part-time. To begin with, some institutions are robbing people in the name of providing a highly standardized education, which results in families falling into a substantial debt hole. To overcome this, some children are forced to work alongside their studies, resulting in a lack of time for education and a fall behind the rest of the class. In other words, it's a pointless way of life. Another reason could be adults' independent lifestyles. This is especially true in developed countries like America, where children must leave their parents' homes at the age of 18 and begin their own lives. As a result, this becomes another reason why students work while studying.

These factors, however, could be mitigated to a large extent by providing free higher education and allowing teenagers to remain at their parents' homes until they graduate from university. Germany, for example, provides free education to its citizens. It not only alleviated the burdens but also led to the country's literacy rate reaching 100 percent, which is still a dream for many evolving and even developed countries. Furthermore, in some countries, such as Pakistan, it is customary for children to live with their parents until they marry. Though it can be extremely demanding for parents, there is a better long-term reward when their children get jobs after graduation and help their parents.

Finally, students who work part-time are harmed because they have less time for education and are stressed and under pressure. While fear of debt and living alone without the support of parents are two of the reasons why students work while studying, offering free education and allowing them to live with their parents may be viable solutions.

Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

Many students nowadays work part-time while studying. Even though this trend may have negative consequences, the number of young people who forego education in favor of work is increasing. I believe that there are specific causes of this problem, which can be addressed by taking specific steps.

The majority of students who work have a lot of financial obligations to meet. The high cost of education is one of the most common causes. Due to the high tuition fees charged by many colleges and universities, some families are unable to fully fund their children's higher education. As a result, these students must work to pay their university and college tuition. The other factor is the cost of living. Many students study away from home and must pay for things like housing, food, and entertainment. Because it is often difficult to cover these costs, students are forced to work to make ends meet. I believe that students working during their studies lowers the quality of their education and provides no benefits. As a result, it should be resolved at the federal level. This problem has two possible solutions, in my opinion. The government could, for starters, make higher education free. This result, for example, can be achieved by using the country's budget to fund educational institutions. It will not only make universities and colleges more accessible to all, but it will also reduce the number of students who work. The second option is to promote free online learning. Maintaining such a form of distance education does not necessitate a large number of resources.

To summarize, I believe that students work primarily due to a lack of financial resources; however, this problem can be solved by reducing the number of financial expenses that students must meet.
