Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

Despite the fact that many of them were clever in school, they struggle in life. On the other hand, some wealthy people might not have done well in a classroom setting when they were students. While many skills can be learned in a classroom setting, they are ineffective for success. In order to succeed in school, pupils must be diligent, creative, and self-assured.

First off, having kids work hard on their homework helps them solidify the facts they have learned over the school year. People with the character trait of hard labour will persevere. The next step is to inspire young people to approach their education with more creativity. Students' thinking becomes less stereotypical when they are creative, and they are also better able to apply their knowledge to a variety of activities. Thirdly, an essential attribute in a learner is confidence. In extracurricular activities, confident individuals often perform better than those who lack this quality. The skills mentioned above, however, are insufficient to bring about financial success. It takes a certain quality to succeed, and that quality is effort. This demands patience and self-control over a long period of time. People who know how to take responsibility also have to examine all of the pros before deciding on the best course of action after taking a calculated risk. Unlike losers, who think their lives are set by fate, responsible people do not hold this belief. The strength to handle life's demands and hardships is a final requirement for individuals who want to succeed. Future success will go to those who have the courage to own their past mistakes, grow from them, and face them head-on. In conclusion, young people need to cultivate traits like dedication, creativity, and confidence. However, children also need to have other qualities like work, responsibility, and bravery if they want to succeed in life.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Even though they had difficulties in their schoolwork, some folks go on to lead wonderful, successful lives. While choosing the profession for oneself can help someone thrive in life. Success in school primarily hinges on a student's capacity for dedication to their academics. On the one hand, students who excel in their academics need to be dedicated and prepared to give up their leisure time in order to get excellent scores.

Even if the student does not enjoy the subject, they must be able to understand and memorise a variety of topics in order to succeed in school. Few students can commit themselves to their academics because most students would rather spend their time having fun than studying. Hence not everyone possesses this skill. The families in which children are raised frequently have a significant impact on how successful they are in school. For instance, the strict parents of Chinese students instill in their children the value of getting good grades. And as a result, no matter how worn out they are, they force themselves to work hard in their studies. On the other hand, having the right profession choice and being determined are necessary for success in life. Some students struggle academically because they don't enjoy all the topics they are studying and, as a result, can't motivate themselves to study them. Due to the possibility that they have talent in a particular area, this does not necessarily indicate that they would struggle as adults. People who succeed as engineers and lead fulfilling lives despite having subpar grades serve as examples of this. Soft skills are additionally necessary for success in life. In other words, people who are good at leading and working with others have a higher chance of succeeding since they are useful to any business. In summary, underachieving students can succeed as adults by pursuing occupations they are enthusiastic about. And developing soft skills that make them valuable employees in any firm.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

Despite their poor academic performance, some students succeed in their later years. Punctuality and tenacity are two traits that, in my opinion, would help kids succeed in both school and adult life. To start, being on time is essential for achieving success in all phases of life. To put it another way, being on time is the quality of being able to complete a task in the allotted amount of time.

One of the key characteristics that can put a student on the road to success is punctuality. For instance, students who typically finish their syllabus before an exam tend to perform better than those who do not. As a result, by having this quality, students can break the cycle of poor academic performance. This aids students in leading fulfilling lives as adults. People who arrive on time for work are more likely to advance in their positions. Punctuality is the most important of all the requirements, even though there are some others. As a result, being on time can help someone experience success in both their academic career and their adult life. To ensure successful outcomes in life, people also require different qualities. Perseverance is a quality that enables people to focus on a job despite the failures it may bring. This encourages people to persevere till they achieve accomplishment and not give up. Students that possess this trait will succeed in school. This is how they may identify their weaknesses and, consequently, come up with a remedy. This helps individuals create fresh plans and methods for getting high grades in the classroom. They will succeed later in life if they can develop this ability. For instance, Steve Jobs dropped out of college but used his tenacity to create the tech-giant "Apple." As a result, the ability to persevere is beneficial for people to thrive at any age. In conclusion, students should work to develop perseverance and punctuality as soon as they can. Because these are among the qualities that are essential for a person to succeed in life.
