Model Answer 1
One of the most essential aspects in the lives of individuals today is that of education. Every individual has the right to choose his or her own career path and study whatever they aspire for. However, some people believe that the government should decide regarding what the students should study in the University rather than students themselves. However, many others believe that students should be allowed to opt for any subject of their choice and that their preferences are fulfilled. The choices of students are different in terms of pursuing their own interests and ideas. Accordingly, they need to be allowed to choose the subjects they opt for in universities which would align with their career interests. Significantly, students have numerous open opportunities that would help in the development of the students. Certainly, students have a lot of choices that they might be choosing them from. With expanding options for educational purposes, from full-time courses to diploma courses, students are able to find their area of interest easily. This helps them in finding jobs and further, enduring a career where they have skills which could be utilised. However, many people believe that government intervention is important in terms of deciding what subjects students should study in university. Being a conventional idea where government decisions enable students to study the same subject, it restricts students' creativity. Students may not find the subjects induced by the government as their preference. Hence, this would become a barrier in terms of pursuing a field that interests them. Therefore, some might believe that the government should decide the subjects for students in the university. However, I opine that students need to study subjects based on their interests. This not only helps students in being in line with their own choice of career but also in finding relevance and interest in studying their choice of subjects.

Model Answer 2

Education remains one of the most essential aspects in the lives of individuals today. Every individual has the right and ability to choose their own career path, choice of subjects or streams and study whatever they aspire for. However, some people believe that the government should decide regarding what subjects students should study in the University. On the other hand, many others believe that students should be allowed to apply for any subject that they prefer. This may be for any subject of their choice in a way that their preferences are fulfilled. The choice of subject varies based on what they target to become as professionals in the future. Accordingly, they need to be allowed to choose the subjects they opt for in universities which would be in relevance to their future professions. Significantly, students have numerous opportunities in the 21st century that would help in the development of the students. Certainly, students have a lot of choices in subjects or streams that they might be choosing them from. From full-time courses to diploma courses, students are able to find their area of interest without much hassle. They can even opt out of a subject that they do not find interest in. This helps them in finding jobs and further, enduring a career where they have skills which could be utilised. However, for the people believing in government intervention for deciding what subjects students should study in university, a restricted pattern of study is seen. Being a conventional idea, government decisions enable students to study the subjects which are irrelevant for their future. Students may not find the subjects introduced by the government as their preference. Hence, this would become a huge obstacle for students’ career and skill development in terms of pursuing a field that interests them. Therefore, although some might believe that the government intervention is important, I opine that students need to study subjects based on their interests.

Model Answer 3

Every individual has the right and ability to choose their own career path, choice of subjects or streams and study whatever they aspire for. Higher education involves students who choose subjects which would ultimately decide their career options. However, some people believe that the government should be the one to decide on what subjects students should study in the University. Further, many others believe that students should have the opportunity to apply for any subject that they prefer. Students may opt for any subject of their choice in a way that their professional aspirations are fulfilled. The choice of subject varies based on what they target to become as professionals in the future. Accordingly, they need to have the option to choose the subjects they might find fit for the future in universities for their professions. Significantly, students have numerous opportunities in the 21st century that would help in the development of the students. Certainly, students have a lot of choices in subjects or streams that they might be choosing them from. Students are able to find their area of interest in full time courses, online courses, diploma courses, and even in distance learning without much hassle. This helps them in finding jobs where their learnt and developed skills would be utilised. Government speculation and decisions for what subjects students should study in university create a more restricted pattern of study. Students may not find the subjects introduced by the government as their preference. Hence, this would become a huge barrier in which students find their career to be developed or even opt for a subject that may not be fruitful. Therefore, although some might believe that the government intervention is important, I opine that students need to study subjects based on their interests.
