Topic: Some people think that self defence classes should be provided to girls. To what extent you agree or disagree.

Band 6 IELTS Essay

It is undeniably true that the majority of people believe that women are introduced through the category of self mechanism. However, I strongly believe that this training should be provided to females.

To begin, some reasons why it is required. First, they must protect themselves by receiving self-defence training. In this male-dominated society, most women continue to compromise with men's decisions; however, through training, girls could easily confront boys and refute their instructions. According to a survey conducted by the Indian government last year, there are over a lakh rapist cases. Second, having each lady learn how to protect herself can inspire other women to do the same. Certainly, everyone wants to make some efforts in an effective way for their life, but circumstances and peer pressure can break their confidence. On the other hand, if they see others who have already prepared, their motivation to do something increases. Those women are portrayed as role models for them. According to my perception, the classification of self mechanisms is a powerful method that can assist girls in living a relaxed life free of stress and fear."Change is the only constant," as the saying goes. However, the only constant nowadays is a girl being physically abused, harassed, and raped. And it will continue to be this way until someone takes action. When someone opens a social media app, news of a rape incident appears. And doing a candle march for someone is pointless. If it had been the solution, violence would have been avoided. It can be considered a good gesture of respect and support for someone seeking justice, but it is insufficient to put a stop to it. There is no such thing as justice in this world unless you create it.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

Everyone is aware that more than 30,000 rape cases are reported each year. However, these are the only ones that have been registered. What about the ones that never appear? Either the girl or the case will be buried. Most people believe that if it is revealed, they will be insulted. But what if it happens repeatedly? Nobody knows what the future holds, but everyone should be prepared for it. That is, after all, the whole point. We are humans, not air that could exist anywhere.

As a result, self-defence training should be made mandatory for all females. It makes no difference whether the area is rural or urban. Both the public and private sectors should contribute to this. Rural residents who cannot afford it should have government assistance, while those who can should have private assistance. It should be implemented as soon as possible by the government. I'm not a feminist, but I believe that everyone deserves a good life. The training will not only give them the strength from the outside, but also the strength from within to stand up in places where it is necessary. Furthermore, by organising these training camps, unemployment and crimes against women can be reduced. This could be one of the best steps for the world's best nation. Women can protect themselves and their families by learning self-defence. This, in my opinion, is the most important reason for women to learn self-defence, as it can mean the difference between life and death. While men are thought to be the stronger sex, jujitsu is a sport for small men. As a result, even though women are smaller and weaker, this discipline teaches them how to use their opponents' strengths against them.

This is critical in a self-defence situation. The vast majority of attackers will not be skilled in martial arts. This gives women an advantage in self-defence situations.

Band 8 IELTS essay

A woman's self-defence can protect her and her family. For example, the stand-up art of Bujutsu allows you to escape an attacking opponent and flee. The goal is not to stay and fight, but to defend and attack in order to get away from an assailant and find help. Think about those statistics I mentioned earlier. Can you imagine what would happen if every woman started learning and practising martial arts? The attacker had a weapon in 11% of those cases.

Another advantage of self-defence training is the ability to disarm an opponent who is attacking you with a weapon. The technique transfer from unarmed to armed attack is the same. Furthermore, the percentage of physical injury would change.Women gain confidence through self-defence. As a child, I had very low self-esteem and even self-worth. As a child, I never developed that confidence because of hidden agendas by coaches. Martial arts gave me confidence that no one could ever take away or question. Learning the skill, technique, and form required to successfully defend myself in a self-defence situation demonstrated to me that I am valuable. That as a woman, I have worth beyond what society assigns to me. That my life, as well as the lives of my friends and family, is valuable enough to fight for. That as a woman, I have worth beyond what society assigns to me. That my life, as well as the lives of my friends and family, is valuable enough to fight for. Rather than cowering due to my perceived weakness, I could be physically strong enough to defend myself in any situation. The great thing about self-defence is that it can benefit anyone. It makes no distinctions based on gender, age, physical ability, or societal stigma. This is why I enjoy my women's self-defence class so much. I've made new friends and am constantly pushed to do better in class by my classmates. As we continue to learn and gain more knowledge in self-defence, we build each other up in this discipline. Self-defence brings out the best in women and empowers them to be more than they think they can be.
