Band 6 IELTS Essay

The necessity of being able to prepare food for oneself is evident, but there is some debate over when someone should begin learning how. It's debatable whether it's preferable to start learning to cook when you're young or when you're old enough. The key argument for encouraging the younger generation to begin cooking is that acquiring new skills is easier the sooner you start. Many times it happens that a typical adult, who already has a variety of responsibilities, such as a job, begins to learn how to cook for himself.

So learning will be simpler in maturity the younger you start. On the other hand, a widely held belief is that there is no rush to master the skills necessary to serve a table by oneself. A person will eventually mature and learning will become simpler. This assertion is accurate given that learning new skills in today's society is not particularly difficult. Everyone now has access to practically all knowledge thanks to the internet. So it seems sensible that learning to cook a meal as an adult is possible. So, the earlier you begin learning, the easier it will be in maturity. On the other hand, a widely held belief is that there is no rush to master the skills necessary to serve a table by oneself. Band 7 IELTS Essay

Cooking is an art. And while some people believe that children should learn it early in life, others believe that it would be better to develop this talent later in life. In my opinion, learning how to cook when you're young can be very difficult. Therefore people should wait till they're older so they can understand it correctly. To start, some people prefer to involve kids in meal preparation at home so they can cook anytime they need to. They become more independent and self-assured as a result. Learning to cook while you're young would therefore be advantageous.

Therefore, they won't run into any issues if they know how to prepare food. As a result, individuals are able to avoid purchasing unhealthy meals. On the other hand, a child's understanding of substances and their uses is fairly complex. They could be uncertain of the proper amount to use when preparing a dish. They could become frustrated as a result and lose all interest in cooking. Additionally, it can be dangerous and disastrous for kids to use kitchen appliances alone. This is such that accidents could happen from any foolish mistake, like leaving the gas stove on for an extended period of time. Because they are too young to manage these gadgets, it is not ideal for kids to develop this habit. To learn a little bit about cooking, I think it would be great if kids could do simple jobs. Such as watching their parents prepare, and combining ingredients. It is better for young people to study it later in life when they are grownups. To sum up, even if teaching children to cook has many benefits, I believe that when children are old enough, parents should let them cook on their own.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

The question of when a person should learn to cook is frequently debated. Some people believe that a young person should learn how to cook, while others believe that it should be learned in adulthood. To encourage independence and mindful eating, I do, however, think that it is important to learn how to prepare a meal as early as feasible. To begin with, it has been noted that many kids have a keen interest in eating and do not rely solely on their parents for everything.

First of all, as food is one of the necessities for survival, it is wise to gain a broad understanding of the many different types of food at a young age. As a result, kids will be knowledgeable about the food they consume and may steer clear of harmful meals when they are away from home. Teaching kids to cook would also help them develop their independence as well as their cooking abilities. For example, kids will be able to prepare healthy meals on their own while their parents are at work. On the other hand, not many people hold the opinion that kids should solely concentrate on their schoolwork and that cooking might be extremely harmful. There are parents that closely monitor the academic progress and performance of their children in school. While getting good grades in school is crucial, it's also necessary to develop outside-the-classroom abilities that will be useful at home. Therefore, it is important to be able to cook healthy food, especially as they get older. Parents should always keep a close eye on their kids, especially when they are around the fire, knives, and other potentially harmful items in the kitchen. In conclusion, it is evident that while the risks associated with cooking should not be understated, they can both be managed.
