Band 8 IELTS Essay
Hometown has its own emotions. people may stay anywhere in the world, but they still want to come back to their hometown. Immigration and settling in another country for work or educational purposes have increased incessantly. However, most people try to spend their life near the place they were born. There are multiple reasons for that. They also have advantages and disadvantages. In this essay, we will discuss all of the points.
I believe that the place where a person is born is much more familiar to a person than the place where he or she might immigrate. The place has a sense of familiarity that provides safety and security to the person's mental health. This is the reason the place where one is born is called the native place. The native place usually has known people, neighbors, and friends around. People are comfortable when they stay in their zone. The native place makes them feel secure and safe. who does not enjoy the company of their own people, family, and friends? Everyone likes to enjoy the advantage of living close to their parents and friends who they have grown up with. Making connections and building them for a lifetime is what hometown is all about. They stay in their comfort zone. These are the advantages but staying near home has disadvantages also. Staying close to family and always getting help from others shapes a person in a different way. Moreover, it has been found that there are limitations in job opportunities sometimes in the place where they live. It has an effect on their ability to find opportunities in terms of their professional career growth. People sometimes become so lazy that they cannot do their own work. This happens since he/she received help from friends and family. This does not prepare them for unforeseen situations.
Hence, they have to choose a livelihood that is not in accordance with their lifestyle pattern. Moreover, people who are highly educated are the kind of people who do not want to listen. Further, a person is also able to face challenges emotionally as well as financially which alternately does not let the individual to grow in an independent way. While the home environment helps in safeguarding the life of the person making it less stressful it also leads to the effective growth of the person. This is because the eventual benefits earned by the person are not satisfactory. In conclusion, I believe a person should know their work and needs. If a person can satisfy all their needs and excels in self-help, staying near their hometown will not affect their growth.

It is quite common to see now it is people leaving their hometown and choosing to live in a place where they can find opportunities of their own full stop. However there are some people who still prefer to live within their hometown or a place close to their birthplace due to family and economic reasons. While there are advantages to living in or near one's hometown, there are certain disadvantages as well. Many people nowadays are reluctant to move to living in a new city after their graduation .
The reason is simply because they cannot afford the cost or because they cannot 4 to start a new life somewhere else. The current economic condition it is not surprising that people want to stay in a place which is near to the place where David was born . There are certain advantages to this matter which includes support received from the family members in times of need. Friends or family a person has no life long would be near to them to help them with finances or even with providing care in the time of sickness. And other advantages that a person would not face too much of difficulties in a place it has been familiar with for the longest time. In simple terms a person finds much more comfort as well as convenience which the individual chooses over acquiring opportunities in their life. This certainly has a disadvantage as well. A person may not find similar kind of fun or enjoyment living in the same place as an adult because here she would not find any opportunity to explore for activities. Moreover, a person limits his own personal as well as professional growth considering that moving to a new city would have opened up many more opportunities for the person.
