Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Regardless of age or gender, receiving gifts usually makes people happy. However, shopping for teenagers may be challenging. Few individuals believe that kids prefer receiving a financial gift over an actual gift, while others hold the opposite belief. The surprise factor of giving real things would be lost, even though giving cash is more beneficial because youngsters may choose their own gift. We will address both points of view briefly in the paragraphs that follow. Nothing, in my opinion, can be more priceless than a thoughtful, unique gift from a loved one.

Today's youth are very picky and have plenty of options. Additionally, there are several holidays and special occasions in our materialistic world. Such as Valentine's Day, Friendship Day, Women's Day, and Rose Day, to name a few. The selection of gifts is overwhelming and perplexing; there are electronics, cosmetics, clothing, and books, to name just a few. Above all, we sometimes purchase items that would be useless to them. Giving a Kindle, for instance, to a person who doesn't read much. Giving money or cash gift cards therefore appears to be the best alternative, making it straightforward for both sides.

On the other hand, receiving gifts makes you feel valuable to someone and conveys an emotion. A thoughtful present always has a special place in your heart. The time invested in selecting a present while considering the recipient's preferences is priceless. Even just a simple handwritten note or your beloved flower from your sweetheart are always more valuable than money. The majority of gifts would be treasured for a lifetime, and only a genuine gift can work this enchantment in any connection.

Finding real items takes time and effort, however giving cash as a gift is more practical and convenient. I believe that non-cash presents strengthen relationships and help young people develop compassion. Additionally, your close family and friends should help you understand the value of actual people. When the rest of the world is trying to convince you to value money.

There has been debate over the best gifts for teenagers. It has given rise to opposing viewpoints. Some people firmly believe that cash is the best gift that teens can get. While the majority believe that it is preferable for children to get items that are more valuable to them. Below, such viewpoints are discussed critically.

On the one extreme, it is worth thinking about how unsatisfactory the presents and upcoming plans are. It is generally understood that kids today have different gift options, such as online gaming or technological devices. Although older folks might not be as knowledgeable about them. Therefore, the adults might select straightforward customary gifts that they may not find exciting. For instance, on your birthday, a family member might give you an alarm clock, even though you can wake up using the alarm on your phone. You might regret receiving the new alarm system if it turns out to be useless. You must put money aside to launch your own profession if you wish to run a small business. Additionally, you might ask your parents for suggestions on how to use the money you have saved. Donating cash to teenagers is unquestionably dangerous. They recently joined civilization and are easily influenced by risky behaviors like drug and alcohol use.

On the other hand, inspirational gifts and support for aspiration are crucial.

Gifts are renowned for being memorable, and anytime someone looks at one, they think about the person who gave it to them. Because people frequently forget to give financial gifts, wealth as a present cannot replace donations in kind.

Overall, it can be said that money is the ideal present for teenagers. Because it affords them the chance to give unique gifts and boost their aspirations. As opposed to disappointing presents and future planning. In my opinion, giving money to teenagers is a fantastic idea if they can save it. But in other circumstances, presents are preferable if you don't have faith in your kids.

Band 8.5 IELTS Essay

Giving money to young people as a present has long been a contentious topic of debate. Some individuals say that giving money to a teenager as a gift is a reasonable idea, but others dispute this argument. In the essay that follows, the concept from both perspectives with my subjective view will be further addressed and extended.

To begin with, it helps kids grasp the fundamental purpose of money and is a terrific financial literacy tool. As an illustration, rewarding minors with money when they achieve academic goals enables parents to establish the relationship. Between pay and work before their children start their careers.

They must learn the important lesson that success often requires enormous sacrifices and efforts. As a result, by controlling their personal finances as early as possible, a feeling of accountability can be fostered.

Those who disagree with the viewpoint expressed above would respond that it might deceive children into thinking that wealth is the finest reward ever. To give an example, many adults choose to combine chores and allowance. However, if there are no rewards, kids will lose interest in doing their responsibilities. This could lead to misunderstandings about the importance of family. And the fact that everyone in the family should be responsible for keeping the house tidy. You must put money aside to launch your own profession if you wish to run a small business. Additionally, you might ask your parents for suggestions on how to use the money you have saved. Handing out money to minors is unquestionably dangerous. They recently joined the community and are easily influenced by risky behaviors like drug and alcohol use.

Therefore, using money improperly as a prize might prevent children from understanding the true value of things. Which is worse than developing into a materialistic person.

In conclusion, there are compelling arguments on both sides of the debate about the impact of giving young people cash as presents. However, after examining both aspects, it is very evident to me that giving money as a prize encourages financial independence in adults. And helps teenagers become accustomed with managing money.
