Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

The growth of the child is crucial to the destiny of humanity. Because a child's development is essential to human well. Some claim that a parent plays the most significant role in a child's growth, while others disagree and point to friends and television.

However, I believe that each of these factors is crucial to the child's growth. First and foremost, parents are extremely important in children's lives. Because they serve as both the best and the children's first teachers. Starting at birth, they take care of and protect their offspring. They instruct us on how to walk, eat, and distinguish between good and bad deeds.

Second, a friend encourages kids to develop positive attitudes and social behaviors. Additionally, they get group performance skills, and with friends, they independently create personalities and positive relationships. When youngsters grow up and start working, it will be very helpful for their future and careers. Furthermore, allowing kids to live independently without assistance is beneficial for them.

When they were adults, having a good attitude and acting appropriately helped them live independently. Children benefit from viewing television in other ways as well. You can watch a variety of shows to get ideas. Studies, for instance, have demonstrated that educational programs benefit kids' learning because they give them a feel of the culture we live in.

However, in this age of information overload, parents are losing power. The majority of parents in today's society are busy, therefore they can only spend a limited amount of time with their children. The television has taken over as the babysitter. Children spend a lot of time watching television and are influenced by the programs they see.

According to me, the aforementioned three factors have a direct impact on a child's development. However, everything depends on the child's conduct and how they learn about these things. Children should therefore be able to work together with their parents and the wider community. However, youngsters grow up living with their parents, and as they get older, they learn to live with friends and watch television.

While many people believe that friends and television have a big impact on a child's development. I absolutely disagree with this idea since I believe that parents play a much more important part in raising their children. We will talk about the role that friends, parents, and television have in a child's life in this article.

In order to raise their child to be a good human being and a successful person in the future. Parents must first nourish their child with emotion and a sense of responsibility. Additionally, they sacrifice their own desires and happiness for the sake of their child. All of their loving and vengeful acts toward their children serve to make them better people. For instance, I used to despise how strict my parents were while I was growing up. However, I can now appreciate why they were being so harsh and how important it was to pressure me to make decisions that would be best for my future.

There is no point in disagreeing, though, as all of these factors are important for the development of the child. First and foremost, parents are children's first teachers, so they play a very important part in their lives. Parents provide for all of their children's basic requirements. From the moment of birth till the end of their lives, they guard their offspring. Parents guide us in learning how to walk, eat, and discern between good and bad behavior.

Because parents have a better understanding of their children, youngsters can discuss their concerns and opinions with their parents. Additionally, only parents can financially support their children.

On the other hand, we cannot discount the influence that friends and television have on kids. Additionally, students frequently pick up knowledge from what they watch on TV or from their friends. However, not all of the lessons youngsters pick up from such environments are appropriate for their proper upbringing. For instance, when kids watch violent television shows, their natures can occasionally become more aggressive as a result.

Band 9 IELTS Essay

Some claim that a child's parents are the most influential individuals in their life. While others assert that friends and technology like television have a bigger influence. Parents are undoubtedly significant in a child's life, but in my opinion, friends and the media are now far more influential.

Parents are crucial. They serve as the child's first instructor and role model, after all. Parents teach their children a lot of social skills. In actuality, their environment at home has a significant impact on how they develop as people. That explains why people who are born to successful parents also succeed in life. Children from dysfunctional families are also more likely to experience personality disorders.

A positive demeanor and behavior when they were adults always helped them live independently. In other ways, watching television helps kids in their life as well. Various programs can be watched to help spark thoughts. For instance, studies have shown that educational programs help children learn a lot since they offer them a sense of the culture in which we live.

However, parents are losing influence in this day of information overload. To begin with, the majority of parents today are busy and only get to spend a little amount of time with their kids. The babysitter position is now filled by the television. Children watch television for long periods of time and are influenced by the shows they see. As a result, television programs rather than their parents are now more influential on how they perceive the world.

Even more influential than technology are friends. Children interact with their peers frequently both inside and outside of school. It makes sense that they would be influenced by their buddies. Every youngster aspires to be well-liked by their peers. In fact, many kids may even disobey their parents if it will make them look good to their friends.

In conclusion, parents are slowly losing their ability to affect their kids since they are unable to spend enough time with them. It should come as no surprise that peers and technology are becoming the main influences on kids instead of parents.
