Band 8 IELTS Essay

Work-life balance is a notion that emphasises both the professional and personal lives. Further, in my opinion, personal hobbies are just as vital as professional pursuits. To have a balance in our lives and to enjoy a happy and fulfilling existence, I think we should put equal emphasis on our careers and interests.

It determines who we are and how we contribute to the society we live in, in my opinion, when it comes to work or a profession. Our career would progress steadily, and we would be happy with our lives, provided we performed our duties to perfection. It seems to make sense that when our jobs are exciting to us, we will work with a passion that will help us perform at the highest level.

Certainly, being dedicated to our work would bring out the best in us and enable us to unleash our untapped potential. For instance, throughout history, a great number of scientists have given their all to their profession. And produced wonderful inventions that have benefitted all of humanity. Work is therefore of utmost importance to a particular group of individuals beyond anything else in life.

A different set of people, on the other hand, perceive their hobbies and leisure pursuits to be more engaging In addition, place greater importance on them than their careers and jobs. Given that we only have one life to live and that happiness and contentment are the ultimate goals in life. Thus, I think it is wise for them to emphasise certain things more than others. However, their priorities in life frequently result in neglect in the workplace, and as a result, they suffer from financial ruin in later life.

To summarise, we are the chief designers of our lives, and how we live now will determine how we live later. A smart individual would prioritise both work and hobbies. Because they understand that maintaining a healthy work-life balance is essential to leading a happy and successful life.

Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

Work seems to take up a significant portion of our day in current society, where everyone has responsibilities to fulfill. Thus, this reduces the amount of time you have for your own hobbies. Some individuals genuinely enjoy this way of life, while others don't and would rather spend their time engaging in leisure activities. Everyone should work, in my opinion, and set aside time for their interests and other pursuits. I'll talk about both of these inclinations in this essay.

First and foremost, one of the key elements for one’s success in your line of work is loving your job. It will provide you the satisfaction of a well-earned and contented life in the long run. You do, however, miss out on opportunities to interact and have fun if you become a workaholic. To quote an example, a study was conducted by the global worker association. This revealed statuses of those who are always worried about their work and do not spend enough time engaging. It stated that they are at a higher risk of developing depression in the future. Furthermore, by refraining from other pursuits, you forfeit the opportunity to acquire new knowledge or abilities.

However, there are advantages to appreciating your pastimes and leisure pursuits. First and foremost, socialising and friend-making occur when you interact with other people. In addition, mastering a skill may help you get better at certain tasks and may even open up work opportunities for you in the future. I can speak from personal experience when I say that I started playing football in my leisure time when I was younger and it led to my current success as a player. Last but not least, if you don't make these activities your second priority, you risk restricting your opportunities for future employment. Only engage in them during your leisure time.

Your career and your leisure pastimes are both quite important when all things are taken into account. But I really believe that people should control how much time they spend in order to achieve a personal balance.

Band 6 IELTS Essay

There has been significant discussion regarding the need for corporate innovation in enhancing outcomes. It particularly in today's fiercely competitive market, as a result of the quickly evolving modern world. These include technology and other events, like pandemic COVID 19. What is it, though? The dictionary definition of this term is "the application of talent and creativity to make something new or to generate art." The value of creativity at work and the elements that affect it are the main topics of this article.

First and foremost, it's critical to examine the variables that affect this skill. According to recent research, organisational factors like leadership, group dynamics, and organisational climate can have an impact on employees' levels of creativity at work. It is just as individual traits like cognition, personality, and affect can do the same for an individual. Self-efficacy, or the conviction that one can perform at a particular level in a particular circumstance, is another element that is distinctive to each individual.

One argument for the idea that organisational characteristics are more important than personal traits. It is the link between goal-setting and the need for creativity in the workplace, as well as how organisational support for creativity affects employees. In this regard, a study found that workers who felt they had a personal obligation to bring about change. These were more likely to engage in extra-role behaviours to kick off the change process. However, a different study found that self-efficacy was important when someone needed to address an issue. Furthermore, contend that "the combination of the two components is what genuinely enhances creativity. This is, both environmental circumstances and human characteristics have a role in employee creativity."

Due to the fact that it provides the competitive advantage that every firm strives to acquire. Thus, this point is particularly essential in both the workplace and elements of everyday life. For this reason, companies endeavour to.
