Band 7 IELTS Essay

Some people respond differently to some things. Traveling is now more accessible than it was in previous ages as a result of the quickening of globalisation. International travel will reportedly become less popular in the future, according to some people. Economical factors are the major cause of this. Others disagree with me, yet we both believe that travelling abroad is highly good for a nation's development. In the following paragraphs, I will build on my viewpoints and go into further detail on the claims in this article. The worldwide movement has a variety of benefits, to start. The local economy benefits first from the tourists, which boosts it.

Because visitors spend a lot of money on restaurants, hotels, food and drink at cafes, and cabs to get across town. As a result, the majority of people are well-off and can easily make ends meet. Additionally, outsiders teach the locals a variety of things, including how to interact and dress. Their level of living thus grows without effort. For instance, a recent study conducted at Oxford University found that 90% of young people are more affected by tourists and emulate them. Further, they also encounter too many challenges during the COVID epidemic due to the travel prohibition. However, there are certain challenges that come with visiting foreign countries. First and foremost, there has been a dramatic rise in crime.

As a result of their ignorance about militant actions and their lack of concern for their own safety, some locals view visitors as easy victims. They have pricey stuff like cameras, jewellery, and so on, which makes them vulnerable to theft. The prevalence of a wide range of communicable illnesses is also high in non-native nations. This is the main justification for why the vast majority of people favour fewer foreign flights. As an illustration, research from Cambridge College in London demonstrates that the coronavirus is spreading globally in 2019 due to the migration of visitors.

In conclusion, it is clear that there are more advantages to foreign travel than disadvantages. In order to protect travel and foster a passion for learning, the government must come up with novel ways to inspire communities to support this activity. In order for everyone to have access to it, it is advised that this be done in an orderly manner.

The amount of international travel will significantly decline in the near future, as is well recognised. While fewer transcontinental flights have their own advantages, I believe that fewer people travelling to other countries will have negative effects for a number of reasons.

Reduced income from tourism in countries where it is a major industry is one of the factors, in my opinion, that creates a disadvantage. Every year, a growing number of nations depend on tourism for revenue, which raises the GDP of the country. People's participation in international tourism will eventually decline as a result of a decline in air, water, or land travel to other countries.

A decreased income from tourism in the countries where tourism is a major business, in my opinion, is one of the factors that (provides) leads to a disadvantage. Every year, a growing number of nations depend on tourism for revenue, which raises the GDP of the country. People's engagement in international travel will eventually decline if transit costs for different countries increase for air, water, or land. As a result, it will have an impact on the nation's overall GDP growth where tourism is the primary business. For instance, travel in Sri Lanka has ceased totally due to the current coronavirus outbreak and a statewide lockdown, resulting in a loss of revenue from tourism.

I believe that a decrease in revenue from the aviation sector is the main factor. Even if it can be argued that lessening foreign travel eases air traffic congestion, it can also result in a decline in aviation industry revenue, which is the primary cause of job losses for the majority of those employed in this business. The aviation sector will undoubtedly experience a decline in business if people cease using it for travel. Consider the recent coronavirus shutdown, where there was an abrupt decline in aviation traffic and many individuals lost their jobs as a result of a lack of income.

In conclusion, the two primary issues brought on by a decline in air travel are a fall in tourism revenue and the demise of the aviation sector. Therefore, I believe that a decline in foreign travel will result in a bad development for the reasons listed above.

Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

Since the end of World War II, the planet has experienced peace, and as a result, the number of people travelling internationally has been rising quickly each year. After the tragic war had ended, there was a demand from travellers around the world to learn more about other nations and to take in the breathtaking scenery of all the continents. But because individuals now prefer to sit in front of a computer and view the globe through the programmes presented, rather than purchasing a ticket and flying directly to the destination, people believe that as technology advances, particularly the Internet, there will be less cross-country travel.

This is definitely a dangerous tendency, in my opinion and it has a negative impact on society from a variety of angles.

Travelling through the screen cannot possibly be the most engaging experience for the tourists. Real world discussions still have their own distinct value, according to studies. Instead of envisioning things they see on TV, the internet or in a dry essay, people prefer to watch, taste, touch, and feel with their own senses. They will have lasting recollections from real tours that they won't have from watching scenes in the media flash before their eyes. They also run a lot of health risks when they travel passively. Due to their inactivity, they will be physically threatened by obesity and heart disease. People become mentally sluggish, which makes them anxious and unhappy.

Some contend that reducing non-essential travel can save the environment because less oil, gas, and petrol will be utilised. This may be true in the interim, but scientists are working to develop ever more environmentally friendly fuel in order to lessen pollution. The inability to travel by means of transportation so limits people's ability to learn more about the globe. As a result, the community's development is somehow slowed down by this.

In other words, there shouldn't be any less international travel in the future as it will cause several issues for both persons and nations. More measures should be implemented by governments to encourage the growth of this vital sector, which will benefit both their inhabitants and the country as a whole.
