Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

There are several ways we might live our lives. Some people choose to live a structured life by sticking to a set pattern, while others opt for a life with more variety. A solid life is something I support, although it can get boring. When we have well-planned routines, our lives become easier. It also helps us do more tasks each day. For instance, there are several benefits to waking up early. Our health benefits from this behavior.Changes can be made to this life to make it better.

On the one hand, some individuals choose a steady lifestyle. More efficiency and consistency are things they want. When people follow a set routine, their lives tend to follow the same pattern, which might increase stability. Additionally, when people follow a pattern, they are aware of what is coming up and can get ready. By avoiding needless trial and error for an unforeseen circumstance, a significant amount of time and effort can be saved. Thus, sticking to a schedule can increase a person's productivity. However, when people continue with their old routines and habits, they risk leading a life that is prosaic. And in which improvement is virtually impossible. People need to embrace certain changes now and then if they want to avoid hitting a plateau.

However, other people desire a life that is more exciting or adventurous. Instead of stability and effectiveness, they want their lives to be more varied. As a result, they continuously put themselves to the test and are eager to explore all of their alternatives. Through trial and error, people are more likely to discover their true passions, which increases their chances of achieving their goals.

In conclusion, because stable lives are more pleasant, I tend to prefer them. Yet, if a person's life is overly dependent on a routine, there is little room for improvement. In order to maintain a balance between stability and uncertainty, humans need to occasionally embrace change.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Some people believe that feeling in control of their day comes from having a schedule and a plan for it. Others contend that having a flexible schedule that is open to adjustments is what adds excitement and unexpected happenings to life. But in my view, it's important to strike a balance between flexibility and forethought.

On the one hand, following a strict routine, which is made possible by advance preparation and good discipline. Enables one to finish all the intended activities and chores that were added to the routine. As a result, people can design life roadmaps and achieve their objectives through thorough planning by sticking to their routine. As a result of carrying out the predetermined tasks, the person who established the routine and adheres to it feels in charge. But life has far too many variables that can't always be taken into account while making a plan. These instances, which disrupt the routine, may make the person feel confused and melancholy.

On the other hand, some people enjoy adjustments when the daily routine is relaxed. They claim that leading such a lifestyle makes for an exciting and unpredictable life. Being flexible causes them to frequently lack strategy and struggle to accomplish their objectives since they are easily distracted by unforeseen occurrences. According to the Daily News' poll, those without a set plan for every day of the week perform less well at work.

A balance and healthy lifestyle is important in order to stay productive. The best approach to feel in charge and have an interesting life is to be able to establish. And adhere to a rigid schedule that is adaptable enough to meet any changes by reshaping the routine structure.

In conclusion, each perspective has pros and cons of its own. Due to this, a hybrid strategy must be developed to provide for life balance.

Band 9 IELTS Essay

Having a routine has undoubtedly many advantages. Our lives become less stressful and more structured as a result. But I don't believe that everything has to be completed on schedule or in accordance with a predetermined plan. It is absolutely fine, in my opinion, to occasionally interrupt the norm.

Our lives get simpler when we have well-designed routines. Additionally, it enables us to get more done each day. For instance, rising early in the morning has numerous advantages. This behavior is beneficial to our health. We won't ever be late for work or school thanks to it. Our grades will gradually improve as a result of this easy habit of rising at the same time each day. And when we begin a career, it will increase our chances of earning a raise or promotion. Similarly, if exercise is a regular part of our lives, we will remain in good health.

Although these patterns do make our lives highly predictable, they also make them less complicated, which is undoubtedly a positive thing. On the other hand, someone who has no schedule whatsoever may find it fairly challenging to do even small activities in a day.

Nevertheless, occasionally breaking the norm is not harmful. For instance, skipping a training session once a week to take the kids to the park or the movies is quite acceptable. This is a wonderful way to spend time with one's kids. And taking an occasional break from the norm won't have an effect on one's fitness levels.

Others, on the other hand, desire a life that is more exciting and adventurous. Instead of stability and effectiveness, they choose greater diversity in their lives. As a result, they push themselves continually and are eager to explore new possibilities. They have better chances of achieving their goals since they are more likely to discover their true interests through experimentation.

In order to effectively manage our lives, routines are unquestionably crucial. But one shouldn't be afraid to breach them if necessary.
