These days, these types of pollution have risen sharply compared to earlier times. For instance, studies suggest an increase in air pollution by 80% due to increased automobiles within countries like India, Britain and America. Consequences may include health issues alongside never-ending traffic jams arising from this situation.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay
Several people presume that the increasing count of automobiles is a significant challenge confronted by cities. In my viewpoint, urban areas encounter a lot of issues among which traffic trouble stands out; however, alongside it exists other considerable hurdles as well. Through this essay, I will be discussing both types of problems.
Maybe the initial action should be enhancing the accessibility of public transport and setting up bus lanes all over town. Though in the beginning, this may escalate stress on roads, there are chances it will eventually lead to a rise in people commuting through public transit while leaving their cars at home. A method to persuade individuals to use buses and trains can include reducing fares along with extending service hours.
After that, local authorities or the government might increase difficulties for car owners by imposing a fee or permitting only specific vehicles in city regions on particular days. A comparable method has been operational in London for some time and it has led to reduction of cars on the street.
Another way is, more rigorous than taxes and selective utilization, is to completely forbid private cars from entering the city. If we only allow public transportation options it would eliminate traffic congestion issues and make space for more pedestrian zones in urban areas.
In conclusion, various alternatives exist to lessen the car numbers in city centers. However, fundamentally they all depend on improving public transportation systems and encouraging both drivers and their passengers to utilize them.

A lot of people believe that the most important issue of our society is the increase in the number of automobiles in the city. While for the same case, some people have opinions like our metropolis has great endeavors. On the other hand, it is a true fact that our city areas are very much congested with vehicles everywhere. It is due to the fact that every person in the city owns a car and also there is a huge number of public transport running in the cities. People think that owning a car is much better than traveling in public transport because they can travel at their ease and don’t need to wait or talk with unknown passengers. There are a lot of public utility vehicles, that are a good business for some people and they make good profit for them. Some of the best examples are buses, taxis, ola, uber. Some of them are available to book from our phones. On the other hand some say that the big cities have a big problem that needs to be
\tackled.They believe that the urban areas are filled with a lot of dwellers from rural areas. These people flock to the city for jobs. These people find better opportunities in the cities rather than the rural areas. Hence they come and stay in big cities and flood the roads. This leads to an increase in the population of the metropolis. For example a person who just got his degree will get into the capital city for employment. In addition to this problem there is again a problem of housing. For example the city dwellers would build make-shift houses on the streets even under the bridge so that they get a roof to live in. This is a bigger challenge that most societies are now facing.
In conclusion, today we are facing a lot of issues due to an increase in the number of vehicles in the city but it also brings a lot of more problems in the city that also should be looked at. All the problems should be encountered so that the people of the city can live a quality life.
