Model Answer 1

There is long standing debate and conundrum about the ways in which people can keep good health. Some people are of the opinion that exercising regularly is the best way to be in good health while others believe that a balanced diet is the key to good health. From ages people have been focusing attention on exercising regularly. Undoubtedly, exercising has its benefits. It keeps the body fit, increases metabolism, improves blood circulation, reduces stress along with several other health benefits. Eating a proper and a balanced diet on the other hand prevents people from gaining weight, prevents health issues like diabetes, fatty liver, improves skin, etc. Balanced diet is considered the best way to shed those extra pounds. It might be a slower process but will make the body look more fitter and slimmer. I strongly believe that the combination of the two must be incorporated in a person’s routine. I have several articles myself, and have also witnessed the perks of a balanced diet and exercising regularly. I believe that 80 percent of diet and 20 percent of workout can help us keep our body in good health. People who exercise regularly but not following a proper diet will not be able to shed the extra weight. On the other hand people that follow a balanced diet might be able to lose weight but it might take a long time to do so. To speed up this process they need to also incorporate exercise in their daily routine. One cannot suffice without the other. Therefore I believe that following a balanced diet and also exercising regularly can do wonders for our body.

Model Answer 2

A balanced diet and exercising are concepts that have long been discussed by nutritions, dieticians, etc. People nowadays long for good health instead of those chiseled abs or even a toned body. People’s indulgence in fatty foods is exceeding which is leading them to have numerous health issues like obesity, thyroid problems, or even diabetes. Some of these could even be hereditary, which again can be controlled by following a proper diet and exercising regularly. Coming to a balanced diet, I believe the less people eat the lighter their body feels and they can prevent severe health issues due to over indulging. A balanced diet can also prevent people from gaining weight.

It improves the skin, builds up immunity, revives metabolism etc. The list of pros of a balanced diet are endless. On the other hand, exercising must not be neglected at all. Instead it must be included in every individual’s daily routine, even if it lasts for about 20 minutes. Keeping your body active even with slow-paced walks is a good way to introduce a form of workout in one’s daily routine. It is necessary for people to be active and not have a sedentary lifestyle. Any form of cardio during the day can pump up that blood and avoid many diseases and health related issues. I believe that a balanced diet plus exercising regularly both must be included in one’s daily routine for a good health and wellbeing of a person.

Model Answer 3

As I have read several articles about health, I can try to streamline the numerous benefits of a balanced diet and exercising regularly. I would like to conclude these with an example. About two years ago I had gained almost 13 kilos. My ideal weight was around 50 kgs, however, adopting a bad lifestyle had led me to gain weight and I weighed about 63 kgs. I finally decided to lose this weight. Thus, after reading and scouting through several websites, I learned the benefits of a balanced diet and exercising regularly. I slowly changed my diet and also started working out. Initially I worked out for about 30 minutes a day. Slowly I increased the time duration and then started working out for about 60 minutes. I, like so many people out there, strongly believed that only exercising would benefit me by keeping me in good health. However, I later realized that a balanced diet is also mandatory. After a week of only exercising I realized my stamina was slowly increasing, my skin had improved tremendously, my body looked better, and I felt active throughout the day. After adopting a balanced diet and exercising I lost almost double the weight I had lost in the initial week. My body felt lighter, my skin had improved, I did not feel lethargic, my metabolism and immunity had improved and also my stress levels had reduced. After a change in mental health, and body, I feel that the key to good health is both exercising and a balanced diet. I also suggest not adopting strict diets as these can cause deficiencies in the body.
