In the entertainment world, a topic is more prevalent than whether it is beneficial to view foreign films or not. Many view foreign films as a great source of entertainment as well as a source of knowing different cultures of the world. Whereas many believe that watching foreign films can deteriorate the culture of one’s country. To conclude it is important to light the arguments presented by both sides.
To begin with, looking at the advantages of foreign films, these films can benefit in many ways. Watching foreign films gives an insight into the various cultures and traditions which we are unaware of. The youngster can gain a foison of knowledge regarding the language and culture of a particular country. Moreover, watching a foreign film can prove to be a productive task. For example, watching technology related movies can enhance the knowledge regarding the present technology trends.
On the contrary, many still believe that allowing watching foreign films can beget many demerits to an individual as well as to a country as a whole. Let’s have a glance at these demerits. Many historical and political movies can brief an individual with the various historical events and various political movements like about the world wars. Secondly, foreign movies are a great source of movies and have a lot of creative content to exhibit. Some foreign movies are extraordinary in their content and story. And thus, the audiences are taken aback with awe and astonishment while watching the foreign movies.
There are still many people who believe that foreign movies can affect a country in many ways. Firstly, foreign movies can highly affect the performance of the local entertainment industry. And thus, can discourage them leaving them with no progress in their domain. Facing a stiff competition from foreign films and the liking of foreign films can affect the performance of the local actors in myriad ways.
