Band 6.5 IELTS Letter

Dear Varun,

Hope you are doing good! Hope this letter finds you, Rashmi, and the kids well. It has been a great pleasure to receive a letter from you, I was over the moon after reading your letter.

I am doing well. As you know I had eye surgery a few months back fixing my vision, I think I did take the correct decision to go for that surgery. Now my vision is perfect and I could even see long distant objects without the help of glasses. I thought I'll have an allergic reaction and suffered from a burning sensation for few days but it got resolved after taking all the medication. I did all this to get selected for the army and next week I am going for my official selections and I have been preparing for it seriously. Wish me luck! Thanks for your wishes for my birthday.

I had a great party and enjoyed myself with all of my friends here and we almost spent the whole night chatting and drinking. I had to take a day off from work due to a hangover. But I was a little sad that you were not here. I hope next year we get to celebrate my birthday together. Remember when we both used to get all dressed up, cut the cake, and had a blast with our friends and family on our birthdays. Enough about me, I was delighted to know that had one amazing time during your recent holiday trip to London. I heard that the kids enjoyed it the best. I was wondering if you could share all the pictures of the holiday with me. I hope you are back to be the cool person that you used to be. I am hoping that we could catch up soon and plan on a trip. And also do not forget to mail me all the photos of the last trip. Take good care of your health and go for a walk daily.

Can't wait to hear from you.

Best regards
Pavan.

Band 7 IELTS Letter

Dear Emma

I received your letter two days back and I feel happy about your endeavours in life. I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing you this letter to give an update about my life. While being in a new city certainly requires too much adjustment, I recently celebrated my birthday with my friends here. With my new job and responsibilities, I hardly thought I would celebrate. But my colleagues from the office surprised me by throwing a party. It was in a themed cafe. I was extremely happy and overwhelmed by their gesture.

The party was amazing as we all danced and had fun and good food. While I am having a good life, I need to know about your life as well. I heard from my aunt that you went for a holiday recently.I remember how fascinated and passionate you have been about photography. I heard you came back from a trip to Malaysia and I would love o know how you found the country and its people as I am considering visiting the place as well. I would definitely want to look at the photos that you must have taken on your holiday trip. Your photography has always mesmerised me. Maybe we should also go on a trip together sometime. I also wanted to remind you regarding Vivek's wedding that is going to happen in November. Please adjust your time and also book the plane tickets before it’s too late. Do not make any excuses like the last time you did during Sara's wedding. I know you are busy with your job but I think it is good to have family time once in a while. I think Rashmi and the kids want the same. I heard a lot of complaints that you are not spending enough time with them. I think all you need right now is a small break as the last vacation to Ladak was almost a year ago and you were too busy even to talk about it. Hoping to meet you soon.

Yours Lovingly
Niharika

Band 7.5 IELTS Letter

Dear Naina

I received your letter last week but could not get time to reply sooner. I feel happy and proud knowing about how well you have been doing in life. I am sure uncle and aunt are equally proud of you. I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing you this letter to give an update about my life. Last sunday, I celebrated my birthday and for the first time, you were not there. While we all miss you a lot and wish you were here, I am glad you have shaped a life of your own. My birthday was celebrated at home with the family and my friends from college.

They surprised me with cakes and balloons and lots of gifts. I also received the gift you sent for me. I heard from your mother about your recent holiday trip to Pondicherry. I hope you enjoyed your time with your friends and I am really looking forward to some great photographs on Instagram. I hope you had a great time in one of the most soothing cities in India. I also heard that you have been selected for the national tennis championship and I cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to your success. I have always known that you loved tennis and have worked really hard for it. I can’t tell you how proud I am of you. I am looking forward to your matches and I hope that whatever the results, you are going to shine through. Practice hard and all the best. I am hoping that we could all go for a short trip to the Northeast India sometime in the end of the year. If you are free and don't have any tournament we might plan up for the same. Hoping to see you soon and talk loads about your match and our potential trip.

Yours lovingly,
Aaisha
