Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

Recently a few recognised health organisations raised the possibility of a similar law for drugs (like heroin) sale and use restriction. While consumption of any kind of drugs can be considered harmful, regulations are required for all kinds of them. In this essay, I'll explain why, in my opinion, the passage of such a law would mark a turning point for the safety of our children.

First off, when it comes to the addictive properties, tobacco and heroin are very similar. The active component of tobacco, nicotine, affects smokers by directly interacting with their brain cells. Numerous studies done on animals, particularly rats, by scientists have shown that this poisonous substance does eventually cause dependence. Just like the action of heroin.

Second, the prohibition on the sale of cigarettes would undoubtedly result in an immediate drop in tobacco use. Dr.Hisham, of the Alexandria Medical College, asserts categorically that having ready access to cigarettes places a great deal of pressure on people. Particularly teens, to resist such a temptation. Giving the younger generation the impression that smoking is as harmful as using other fatal narcotics. As they become older, they'll thank us for taking this life-saving action, he says. We are all extremely familiar with the harmful effects of drug use. It impairs one's capacity for work, reasoning, and regular social interaction. However, the use of drugs among young people has increased recently, which makes this issue much more crucial.

To sum up, the application of a futuristic rule like the one proposed will undoubtedly have a good influence, not only on the health of young people. But also on our society as a whole. One of the main contributing factors to drug consumption is its ease of access. Government restrictions will undoubtedly end the supply of this substance, breaking the cycle of consumption.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

The last few decades have seen tobacco wreck havoc in people's lives. Their health is harmed, and it also makes them dependent on substances. People have been debating whether or not tobacco should be subject to the same rules that were created for heroin consumption. This article will analyse the subject and offer two pertinent arguments for it.

Let's start by saying that smoking has damaged a lot of lives. In other words, those who ingest it are afflicted with long-term illnesses including cancer and heart conditions. According to a poll, smoking-related deaths are on the rise among people. Additionally, people become more dependent on these things as a result of their cheaper prices, which lowers their productivity and efficiency. Their future endeavours are harmed by this mentality, which also leaves them susceptible to ailments. For instance, many people in Africa use illegal products, which significantly harms their quality of life.

When discussing the rules that can prevent the sale and purchase of tobacco, it is essential to apply them to tobacco as well. It would undoubtedly be a wise decision. Although addicts will find a way to obtain these items. If the government takes tough action to reduce supply, the availability will inevitably diminish, making it impossible for consumers to buy more. People can solve this issue by completely banning the selling of such things. As an illustration, Bhutan has outlawed the selling of cigarettes to its population. It has improved their efficiency and decreased health issues.

To sum up, it is unavoidable to note that tobacco has taken several lives. And it would be preferable if the government outlawed the use of such products entirely in the future. It will benefit citizens and boost a nation's income. Effectively, people would benefit in terms of better health conditions and have a better lifestyle.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Since the dawn of time, drugs have posed several issues for society. As a result of their addiction, drug users withdraw from society and become a burden to their family. Because of their inability to work, drugs have left them in a lonely world. Even when the government passes laws to ban narcotics from the community, they nevertheless reappear in various forms. In this article, the topic is examined, and the effects of drugs on several facets of life are discussed.

Drugs that were once illegal but are now widely available in markets. Such as heroin, generates a lot of problems for the individual. The general consensus is that tobacco should be covered by this regulation. Cigarettes are the main source of tobacco and are widely available in marketplaces. Individuals who consume drugs become disconnected from the outside world. They leave behind their families, and jobs. And they end up as a financial drain on the nation. They are one of a country's most valuable resources, yet drug addiction is killing their lives. Hence, to save the nation's population and combat other drugs like heroin, the government must act decisively.

Due to a lack of resources, drug users engage in criminal activity like robbery and terrorism. Due to their severe drug addiction, many individuals are unable to find employment to support their family. To their families and even to the nation, they became a burden. Due to their addiction, drug addicts' families must deal with numerous issues. They lack the resources to provide for their needs, including feeding and medical care.

To sum up, I recommend that the government outlaw the sale and usage of cigarettes, just like they do with heroin. In addition to devouring society like termites, drugs also endanger the prosperity of present and future generations. Taking the drug negatively impacts not only the consumer but also their family and social life.
