In contrast, people nowadays have considered shopping to be their hobby and conduct it as their leisure activity. People find it important to spend money in order to keep up with the latest trends in the market and hence, do not mind spending more money on them. This has led to people picking up products even which they do not require simply because it has become their hobby. The impact can be considered in terms of growing addiction for the people due to which even the statistics in Times of India have stated that in the last five years, the trends in shopping has increased from 20% to 80%. However, on the other hand, I think that shopping is an act that relieves stress for many. People work all day long for many purposes, but the core one is to satisfy themselves. Indeed, the joy of shopping is not only about buying things, but it is also about the time that people can spend together in a mall or a marketplace. According to a recent survey, it is seen that while visiting malls, the majority of customers who visit, spend more money on food and cinemas than on buying various unnecessary stuff. Henceforth, the shopping center is also a place of social interaction and entertainment, which offers many opportunities for clients to shop and spend some good quality time. In conclusion, it may be identified that while spending money on leisure activities like shopping, movies or even food can be entertaining and a positive trend. At the end of the day, if a person spends money on self-pampering which makes them happy, it would lead them to work hard and earn more in the future. 

Shopping has become more of a source of entertainment for the people nowadays. They are more inclined towards visiting malls or even flea markets which helps them to go through different kinds of products and make their purchase. Certainly, it is possible for the people to be aware about the latest trends in fashion and lifestyle products and remain updated with that. Many people consider decorating their homes with numeorus miscellaneous products as a means to enhance the beauty of their houses. This makes them shop every now and then for the same. Moreover, shopping also helps in increasing social interactions between family members as well as with people outside. Different brands have salespersons with whom positive relationships are created helping people with their shopping. Many a times when grandparewnts go for shopping it increases the love and relationship between them and their grandchildren.  Under any circumstances, if the buyer has kept a sufficient budget in mind before going to shop, it is for a good cause as it helps to relax our mind and also gets us acquainted with many new items that have been in the market. Overspending at the time of shopping without keeping the budget as the primary objective will be just an inefficient use of resources, so at one point, the joy of shopping replaces the burden of financial problems. For instance, irresponsible use of loans, like mortgages, is putting many people under an obligation, and eventually, people face the risk of losing more than their houses. People, however, must be aware of their spending and keep a check on their responsibilities. In all, shopping creates new opportunities for the market and for the people of the market as well, which eventually helps the economy of the country to boost, but people should be conscious of the negative outcomes of their exaggerated spending behavior.

This is tiring work. Buying things can also keep relationships healthy. For instance, if the grandchildren go shopping with the grandparents then they purchase toys, chocolates, and more. This makes both of them happier, as well as the relationship, becomes closer. Moreover, shopping can boost health as well as the economy.Health in a way that would lead to exercise by walking, relaxing the eyesight rather than playing computer games in a chair in a corner of the room. It helps the economy as it keeps the continuity of money flow in the economy. Indeed, the joy of shopping is not only about buying things, but it is also about the time that people can spend together in a mall or a marketplace. According to a recent survey, it is seen that while visiting malls, the majority of customers who visit, spend more money on food and cinemas than on buying various unnecessary stuff. A recent article in a newspaper reveals that walking and carrying shopping bags burn 385 cal in a week. Lastly, to conclude shopping is a happy and positive trend because it helps us to gain experience in selecting products and also gives us good physical health.
