Service Canada Centers for Youth

Human Resources & Career Centre for Students and the Hire-a-Student program, the Service Canada Centers for Youth (SCCY) are centers, set up by the Government of Canada as part of its Youth Employment Strategy, by which it helps students and employers across Canada with their summer employment needs. Summer jobs help students to develop their skills and offer them the work experience they need to build their career. SCCY provides a variety of free services to assist students improve their job search skills and acquire meaningful employment. It also helps employers to find enthusiastic summer help. Most offices are open from May to August and are staffed by experienced university students. The SCCY offers the following;
