Topic: Some people say that schools should teach good behaviour to children and introduce them to ‘right’ and ‘wrong’. Parents should not be the only ones responsible. Do you agree or disagree?

Band 7 IELTS Essay

Students develop academic skills and moral principles at school. For a student's overall fundamental development, schools are responsible. I concur with the notion that educators should help kids comprehend what is appropriate and inappropriate behaviour.

Home and school are the two settings where kids can learn the most. Although schools offer a wealth of knowledge in this area, children mostly learn about social interaction and behavioural patterns from their peers. Additionally, students spend a lot of time with their teachers and partners at educational institutions. As a result, the attitude and style that the young pupils observe in their surroundings motivate them to behave similarly. Creating an atmosphere of integrity, decent behaviour, and politeness across the school is essential in order to fully install these virtues in the pupils. For instance, even though my uncle's niece is just in fifth grade, she respects the old. Because her mentors taught her these virtues, she needs to instil them in herself.

In addition to the above, modern parents of young people are so preoccupied with making money that they scarcely have time for their significant other. Therefore, parents demand the facility that along with their academic skills, their children also learn civic awareness. Such as maintaining the decorum of locations like historical sites or gardens. Additionally, the parents alone are not working out well because household members occasionally follow demeanour patterns incorrectly. And, as children have a fast learning brain, they pick up that behaviour quickly. So, many times even parents need to be careful about the way they act.

In conclusion, I'd suggest that a teacher would assist in instilling moral principles in kids. As well as correcting any incorrect ones that the kid may have chosen. As a result, schools not only teach academic subjects but also excellent behaviour.

Some people contend that schools also have a duty to instil in students moral principles and appropriate conduct. I fully agree with this, and I shall expand on this idea in my essay. The majority of a child's time is spent at school. Therefore, it is the responsibility of teachers to instil in their student's virtues of behaviour and habit.

Today, the majority of kids enter school as soon as they reach three. For them, the school serves as a second home where they may interact with many people. Children have impressionable minds at this age, so anything they see or hear will leave a lasting impression. Naturally, educators can use this time to assist students in recognising right from wrong. Little ones exhibit a great deal of regard for their teachers. In effect, they hold their professors in more regard than their parents. Therefore, it makes sense if teachers help students understand what is good and wrong. Then, they will be more inclined to choose the right way.

Teaching children morals and values is another duty of parents. They are unable to watch over every move their kids make, though. Teachers are the children's natural guardians while they are in school. So it is their responsibility to educate them on what is right and wrong. By the time a child reaches the age of 10, their character has developed. The two main factors influencing their lives at this time are their parents and teachers. Therefore, it is essential that both parents and educators assume responsibility for educating them about appropriate behaviour.

To summarise, children spend a significant amount of time under the care and supervision of their teachers. And as a result, teachers have a moral obligation to steer them in the proper direction.

It is frequently suggested by some that schools should shoulder the same responsibility as parents in instilling good habits in the kids. And teaching them what is appropriate behaviour for them. I concur with the premise that teaching children healthy habits and behaviour becomes their major responsibility.

Once they turn three, the majority of kids begin attending school. Since they spend so much time in school with their peers and teachers, it is thought of as their second home. Teachers should therefore take the effort to educate kids on social values. For instance, schools today plan several group activities to teach pupils about cooperation and teamwork. In addition, schools identify the children's strengths and weaknesses. And based on that information, teachers guide the students toward the best course for their overall development. Because of all these factors, it is now the responsibility of the school to instil good habits. And inform students about what is appropriate behaviour.

Teaching children morals and values is another duty of parents. However, parents seldom have time to keep an eye on their child's every move because of their rigorous occupations. When children are in school, their instructors serve as their primary guardians. And it is their responsibility to instil in them a sense of right and wrong. The environment at home also affects how children behave. Children learn specific behaviours from watching their family members. Such as talking loudly, lying, and many other things. So they catch all of these things. Teachers ought to be concerned with behavioural studies.

To sum up I believe that it is the moral responsibility of schools to steer children in the proper direction. Because they spend a considerable period of hours under the care and supervision of their teachers. By teaching good behaviours teachers would hence be responsible for developing their cognitive skills.
