Band 6 IELTS Essay

Every person's life has a crucial role in education in school. In fact, all learning capacities rely on it because it establishes the foundation for everything else in the future. Some believe that rather than preparing children for careers, schools should focus on preparing them for higher education. I do, however, largely concur with this viewpoint.

It may be countered that in today's environment of fierce competition, preparing for the workplace from an early age can be advantageous for survival. The time is not yet right, in my opinion, to involve the young ones in activities that are work-related. They should instead focus on studying the fundamentals of different courses or languages so that they can advance their education during high school. As an illustration, there is a reason why students learn the alphabet first, followed by words, and then sentences in school. Students will find it simple to understand the curriculum because of the way it has been designed. The basic knowledge acquired during the school years helps the students choose the disciplines or fields they want to pursue in their future careers. It can be challenging to help pupils learn the specific skills that will be needed. Because they are not yet mature enough to make decisions about what they want to do with their lives. For instance, various fields call for different skill sets. Defense forces demand greater discipline, while jobs in government call for greater patience, both of which can only be learned later after completing education. To sum up, I would say that schoolwork should be limited to acquiring the fundamentals that would aid students in their university studies.

Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

The importance of education in one's life cannot be overstated. Students develop a variety of social and academic skills during their time in school, which enhances their overall quality of life. However, there is debate over how much education should actually prepare kids. Others believe that schools should teach subjects that would prepare students to find employment as soon as they graduate. Contrary to the views of some who believe that the major goal of education should be to prepare pupils for admission to prestigious colleges.

Early learning of the abilities that will make one marketable is advantageous in the competitive world of today. In teaching these abilities, schools can be a tremendous resource. For instance, basic classes on programming electronic circuits or computer equipment are now a part of daily life. It will not only help them maintain their domestic appliances when necessary but will also help them find work. Additionally, not everyone is fortunate enough to finance a university course due to the skyrocketing cost of higher education. A well-educated school graduate will at least feel secure enough to get employment and maintain their independence in such a situation. Others, nevertheless, hold a different opinion. They contend that schools should only concentrate on preparing students for entering universities since universities are designed to teach vocational courses. Compared to school teachers, the qualified and experienced personnel employed by universities are better able to instruct pupils on these courses. Additionally, learning at school should be enjoyable and should focus more on laying a solid foundation for a student's future development. Then it should depend on their employability, which can be easily handled by on-the-job training. In conclusion, schools should establish a solid basis for students to build upon. But universities should merely serve as a venue for the teaching of vocational courses.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

Every person's life has a crucial role in education in school. It does lay the groundwork for all else in life to come. In fact, the entire capacity for learning depends on it. Some believe that schools should focus more on preparing pupils for higher education than on employment. I do, however, largely concur with this viewpoint. Some detractors may assert that preparing for the workplace from an early age can help one survive in the cutthroat competition of today. However, I believe it is too early to include the young buds in activities that are work-related.

They should instead focus on studying the fundamentals of different courses or languages so that they can advance their education during high school. Take the order in which students acquire the letters, words, and phrases in school as an example. The curriculum has been created in a way that will be simple for kids to understand. The foundational knowledge acquired in school helps students choose the courses or fields they want to study in college and in their future careers. It is challenging to help pupils learn the specific skills that will be needed while they are in school because they are unable to select what they want to do. Specifically with their lives in the future. For instance, government occupations require greater patience and the armed forces more discipline. These skills can only be learned later on after completing their education. To sum up, I would say that schoolwork should be limited to acquiring the fundamentals that would aid students in their university studies.
