Education is important to bring a modern and educated world. Education must be provided to all and it must be effective as to train youth to work efficiently. There should be knowledge provided to children regarding upcoming challenges. To educate children to thrive in a competitive world, educational institutions must teach them a variety of subject areas. Including science, math, language, the arts, and history. However, there is another school of thought that contends that career-oriented skills should be developed with greater priority. In the paragraphs that follow, I'll discuss both elements and offer my view on the subject.

In addition to imparting knowledge about the past, studying disciplines like history, which give an understanding of previous rulers, their successes and failures. It is beneficial in that it helps students become well aware of key events that occurred in the past and still have importance now. The role played by alumni becomes even more important as the children learn in their curricula. About events that occurred in their own countries as well as in the rest of the world. Since every generation has a moral and social responsibility to pass on the share of knowledge to the next generation. It is important that alumni play this role.

The idea that children need to be trained from an early age in order to be able to find employment once they graduate from school. However, cannot be outright ignored. If candidates are not properly trained. They may not feel confident because the fierce competition for jobs demands that they have a variety of talents. This has been established by a study done at Columbia University that found companies prefer individuals. Who have at least a fundamental understanding of the field they are applying for, if not profound insight.

In light of what has been said above, it would be wiser to draw the conclusion that both theoretical and vocational topics serve various purposes. And are therefore significant in children's coursework.

One should keep in mind the intricacy of the topic when debating whether schools should teach classic courses like history and literature. While some people believe that teaching is just practical lessons. And adapting to market changes in the classroom is best for students' intellectual development, others disagree. In my view, schools and colleges should prioritize practical courses even though traditional disciplines are crucial for our society. I'll support my position with arguments and examples in the article that follows.

One of the key arguments in favor of my position is that conventional subjects like history and language have become obsolete. And are no longer relevant as a result of the century's rapid technological advancements. Many tasks that were once carried out manually are now carried out automatically thanks to revolutionary advancements. Like the computer, internet, and mobile phone. Since medical research can now be translated online, students no longer need to learn a foreign language to study it. Similarly, there is no need to learn how to manually calculate complex mathematical formulas because computers can do so rapidly. This illustration shows how conventional subjects are no longer as necessary as they once were as a result of technological advancements.

Another argument in favor of my position is the exponential growth of professional knowledge through time. Because of this, students must spend more time learning in order to be prepared for the job market. This can be minimized by substituting professional classes, which will aid students in acquiring the necessary knowledge, for conventional topics. For instance, the length of medical education hasn't changed much during the past 30 years. Medical students will be able to spend more time on practical courses by cutting back on classes like physics and arithmetic.

In conclusion, educational institutions should modify their methods of instruction and adjust to regional economic developments. One of the main causes of the necessary adjustment is the advancement of technology. Together with the demand of more fundamental skills before entering the workforce. The purpose of schools should be to help pupils prepare for the labor market.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

Education plays a vital role in everybody’s life. All necessary values and knowledge must be included in education to train children for the future. They must be made aware about the career they prefer and about the possible challenges. Some claim that schools spend too much time teaching courses like history when. In their view, it would be more beneficial to educate kids with practical skills that would help them land good jobs in the future. I wholeheartedly concur with this viewpoint since developing students' employability skills is far more crucial than teaching them about the past.

First and foremost, learning these career-focused abilities boosts students' self-assurance in their chosen industries. As a result, individuals have an easy time finding work and excelling at it. In other words, the more they learn, the more they can use what they have learned in real-world situations. Courses that focus a strong emphasis on practical or vocational skills. For instance, better prepare students for the workplace. In comparison, history majors have fewer employment options. History is undoubtedly important to understand our past, but it does not prepare pupils for the workplace. And as such, it should not be given a lot of weight in the curriculum.

Likewise, communication skills have grown increasingly crucial in the times we live in. Even so, not many schools put much emphasis on teaching these abilities. As a result, when students enter the workforce, they find it difficult to effectively connect with their coworkers, which reduces their productivity. It goes without saying that teaching pupils skills that increase their employability is considerably more crucial than teaching them about the past.

In conclusion, because the ultimate goal of education is to equip students with the skills necessary to earn a living. It is crucial that educational institutions, especially high schools, add some skill learning courses into the curriculum. And lessen the emphasis on subjects like history and geography.
