- Are you interested in robots?/Do you like robots?
Yes, I am interested in Robots. I think the Robotics industry is in line for exponential growth. It is sure to become ubiquitous and might have the same impact as the internet in the foreseeable future. The extent to which machine learning is progressing leaves the door for robotic automation wide open. I have also enrolled myself in an open access international journal by MDPI called Robotics. This platform publishes interesting articles, and quite recently I came across an article about robots being employed at Airports, schools, grocery stores, hospitals, and other public spaces for disinfection to maintain hygiene levels at these spots. There are also reports that robots might be employed in the healthcare industry. They might assist doctors in surgeries, help in device packaging, lab automation, and so on.

Foreseeable: be aware of beforehand; predict
Disinfection: the process of cleaning something, especially with a chemical, in order to destroy bacteria.

- Do you like robots to work at your home?
Yes, I would like robots to work at home as they would take the load off from me doing the household chores. It would also certainly shed off the burden from the women working arduously every day to get their house clean. Currently, I have a robotic dishwasher, Amazon Echo, and a robotic mop, at home, which makes the laborious household tasks quite easy. As I am not fond of household chores and am lazy, these robotic appliances help me get the work done in no time. They are undoubtedly a life saviour.

Yes, I am open to the concept of a robot driving a car. Robotic cars are especially pertinent in emergencies wherein no help is available around. Also, robotic cars can reduce the percentage of road accidents. However, they are prone to some limitations. For example, robotic cars might not be able to drive during extreme weather like heavy rain or snowfall. In such cases, we do require the skill of a human driver. Although I do believe that no technology can completely override the peculiar human skill, robotic cars can still be a great addition to technological advancement.

- Will robots replace human beings in the workplace completely?
No, I do not think robots might completely replace the human workforce. Yes, there is a need to reduce the burden on human labour, due to which many industries are now juxtaposing robots with humans for peculiar working tasks. There are also reports that there is bound to be significant growth of robotics in medical or pharmaceutical applications, e-commerce, and the agriculture industry. Creativity, on the other hand, like the fashion industry, content creation, etc., cannot be replaced by automation as it does require a human touch. A robot might not be able to bring about the creativity required to design a piece of clothing or quirky content for a social media account. All these require creative human skills that robotics might not be able to supersede.
