Band 7 IELTS Essay

There is a common misconception that the key to assisting others is having more money. The argument in this essay is wholly in opposition to that. Some people think that only affluent people can help others since they have abundant financial resources. Because a tiny number of people control the majority of the wealth in the world's countries. However, this article contends that the desire to help others is what motivates people to perform charitable acts.

It then presents numerous other methods of aiding others before drawing a convincing conclusion. Being wealthy does not guarantee that a person will assist others. To put it another way, it is essential to engage in this type of activity with a good attitude. Even though there are a lot of wealthy people in various nations, despite having extra money in their savings, they never assist those who are struggling. However, despite their poverty, some people still volunteer to serve others with what they have. Therefore, choosing to assist those in need requires only a clear head and thoughtful decision. Another thing to think about is the fact that helping others is not the sole reason to give more money to others. To put it another way, money does not always provide the answer to a problem. However, there are numerous more methods for people to serve others. Such as volunteering at a charity or using a graduate degree, your knowledge, to teach underprivileged youngsters for free. As a result, there are a tonne of different options available if we truly want to assist people. In conclusion, I disagree with the belief that wealth is the main motivator for helping others, despite what some individuals claim. The main aspect in helping the poor is having a heart that is willing to do so. Aside from financial assistance, there are many additional ways to assist the underprivileged.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

It is true that unequal income distribution leads to a situation in which a small group of people control the majority of the wealth. As a result, some people think that only wealthy people can assist others because they have ample financial means. I partially disagree with this statement since I don't think wealth is the only thing that can motivate people to help others.

To start with, money is necessary to purchase any good or service. Due to their lack of resources, the majority of people are unable to pay for necessities like adequate food, clean water, a good education, and housing. Therefore, the only way their standard of living may be changed is if wealthy individuals or developed nations invest money in the creation of amenities. Focusing on those that are required for those who lack them. So, without their assistance, it would not be feasible to improve their standard of living. In contrast, there are numerous ways to assist those in need without spending any money. In spite of their poverty, some people frequently offer to help others with what they have. Thus, choosing to help those in need merely demands making a clear-headed decision. This can be accomplished by offering them volunteer support. For instance, in a nation like India, where it is extremely difficult to provide basic education to children of poor people. Mainly, because they cannot afford to educate their children. Sharing information with them and assisting them in learning the fundamentals will therefore increase their prospects for the future. It will also lessen the amount of child labour that occurs in the nation. The economy will prosper as a result of this. Richness, in the opinion of some, should be taken into account. In conclusion, I believe that money is important in helping others by giving them the facilities they need. But it is not the most important component because assistance can be given in many various ways, such as through free assistance in learning new skills.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

It is believed that wealth is important to charitable giving. Although it is true that donations only come from surplus cash, I can only partially concur with this. Because many wealthy individuals choose not to support causes. Without a doubt, people only develop a philanthropic mindset when they have money to spare. In other words, people donate any extra money they have left over after paying their monthly bills. It is incredibly unlikely for people to assist other people if they are fighting for their own lives.

Furthermore, the desire to help others only arises when a person is self-sufficient enough to maintain a comfortable standard of living even after doing so. Using my organisation as an example, there is a group that solicits donations from coworkers and friends once a month. Most of them have good salaries, so they contribute a portion of their take-home pay to support the less fortunate. But in my opinion, having the correct mindset is just as crucial for helping people as having wealth. Many people offer to help others with what they have despite their poverty. Making a wise judgement is all that is needed to decide whether or not to assist those in need. Offering them volunteer assistance will do this. However, there are many wealthy people who choose not to volunteer their time and money. Because they believe that the government should care for the poor, not them, and not them the government. For instance, many wealthy athletes and actors are also generous, although this is not always the case. The welfare of their country or people is unimportant to the remainder of them. Therefore, it is crucial that generosity does not occur without the want to contribute. In conclusion, income is not the only aspect that may be taken into account when deciding how to help others. Even though it does play an important role in philanthropy. I believe that riches are useless if people do not want to help others.
