Rich Countries Should Not Employ Skilled Labor From Poor Countries IELTS Writing Task 2 IELTS Writing Task 2 consists of three sample answers provided below. Many people believe that developed countries should stop inviting skilled workers from developing countries because poor countries require them more. I completely agree that wealthy countries should not hire experienced workers from economically depressed countries. In this essay, I will elaborate on my point of view.

To begin with, rich countries already have cutting-edge technologies and have advanced to a certain level. Because they have a large number of trained workers, they are becoming increasingly wealthy. Poor countries, on the other hand, continue to struggle for basic necessities due to a lack of finance and advanced technologies. They lack the experienced workers that wealthy countries have.Instead of going to developed countries, skilled workers from poor countries could use their skills to help develop their own countries. Furthermore, rich countries should enact legislation prohibiting the hiring of skilled workers from certain poor countries. Third, financially weak countries should pay high wages in order to keep highly skilled workers in their home country. As a result, instead of working in rich countries, they can focus on developing their own country. This will aid poor countries' financial and technological development. Skilled workers, on the other hand, prefer to work in wealthy countries because they provide better services and higher pay grades.

To put it succinctly, wealthy countries should avoid hiring from poor countries. Furthermore, financially disadvantaged countries should enact laws to protect highly skilled workers.

Furthermore, financially weak countries should enact laws requiring highly skilled workers to be paid more than in developed countries. Furthermore, they can improve employee benefit plans in order to retain highly skilled employees. Lastly, skilled workers who migrate to first-world countries often end up working in industries that are simply irrelevant to their education and skill.

Because they migrated from poor countries, many doctors and engineers in first-world countries work in restaurants or drive cabs. They could have better served humanity if they had enrolled in their original professions in their homelands. The brain drain system should be stopped because skilled labor migrates to rich countries for better wages and lifestyles.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

In many countries, skilled workers from developing or poor countries are more productive at home. Personally, I believe that this system should be abolished because it will make poor countries poorer while making rich countries richer in the long run. First, because of their broken economic and educational systems, poor countries can only produce a small number of talented people each year. In the future, wealthy nations will take advantage of students and professionals who have been supported by government and public funds.

This is unethical, and the majority of migrated professionals serve their migrated countries rather than their home countries. Scientists, writers, engineers, and doctors in developed countries are in abundance, while in poor countries, such professionals are scarce. These talented and qualified individuals are the keys to a poor country's development, and they should serve their motherland.

Furthermore, developed countries have many skilled workers and can function well without attracting skilled workers. Astronomers and scientists in the United States are already skilled and talented, so importing foreign professionals isn't necessary. Over the last half-century, the rate of change in human life has outpaced our wildest expectations. This shift has been fueled by rapid advances in science and technology. As a result, the world appears to be a small village. As a result, many skilled people from developed countries could apply for jobs in wealthier countries.

However, some commentators believe that developed countries should not provide opportunities for people from developing countries. I strongly believe that professional employees should be given good job opportunities in wealthy countries. For starters, involving highly skilled and knowledgeable individuals in work organizations in various sectors will greatly benefit developed countries. Because those who are ambitious and highly qualified employees will boost the productivity and creativity of any workplace. A recent study in Canada, for example, found that more than 25% of the employees who successfully participated in medical research were immigrant physicians. Providing suitable jobs for workers from poor countries will encourage them to immigrate to wealthier countries and a need for skilled workers.

Without a doubt, foreign workers can improve the working conditions in developed countries.

On the other hand, a compelling case can be made for the opposing viewpoint. To begin with, opponents claim that workers from developing countries may be less qualified than their peers' citizens. As a result, they may find it difficult to adapt to new systems in developing countries. For example, according to recent statistics published in London, international medical graduates received lower scores than domestic medical graduates. In addition, skilled workers from poor countries may compete with citizens of developed countries to create jobs for them.

To summarize, the benefits of allowing skilled workers from poor countries to work in rich countries clearly outweigh the disadvantages. Governments of developed countries should enact legislation to strike a balance between foreign and domestic job opportunities.
