The results of a survey in which students evaluated five elements of McGill University in the years 2005, 2010, and 2015 are shown in the table. Over time, the evaluations of students' services have dramatically improved.

The ratings of the assortment of modules, however, sharply declined. Sports and social facilities, meanwhile, received the same scores over the course of three years. The judgments of instruction quality did not differ significantly. The percentage of students who thought the quality of the instruction was good declined from 74% in 2005 to 72% in 2010. However, in 2015, up to 78% of the students awarded the quality of the instruction a satisfactory rating. According to the graph, between 86-88 percent of students reported being extremely satisfied with the library's resources during the course of the period. Despite only expressing mild discontent in 2010, a sizable number of students (between 74 and 78) thought that the quality of the instruction was good (72).The sports and social facilities were another area where the students felt at home, and the satisfaction percentage for them remained steady at exactly 65%.

While the proportion of students who gave libraries good ratings increased somewhat from 86% to 88% in the year 2010. By the year 2015 it had decreased to 87%. The scores for student services had the biggest increase, going from 54% to 95%. The ratings for the assortment of modules, however, decreased from 39% to 25%.
