Requesting Remote Work IELTS General Writing Task 1

For a variety of reasons, I would like to utilise the option of working from home. I would be able to take care of my grandma first, who is unwell and need my immediate attention. Second, I have to travel a long way each day to get to the office in time because my home town is too far from the location of my workplace.

I want to notify you that I have even made good arrangements at my home which is well-equipped with the latest technology like broadband internet, a personal laptop, printer, postpaid mobile connection and a peaceful workspace. Hence, I'm absolutely sure about providing top quality work from home itself. The ability to work from home, however, would make it much more pleasant for me to avoid this pointless commute and maintain a higher level of activity at work.

I'd want to let you know that I've made thoughtful preparations at my house, which is well-equipped with cutting-edge equipment including broadband internet, a personal laptop, a printer, a postpaid cell connection, and a quiet workstation. I can therefore deliver top-notch work from my own home with complete confidence.

If you will let me work remotely, I will be very appreciative.

As I mentioned, my mother has been diagnosed with high blood pressure which is a result of her intense overthinking habit. Since I stay far away from home in Bangalore while my hometown is in Assam, my mother is constantly worried about me and my health issues. However, in doing so she has deteriorated her health conditions and doctors have advised her to remain free from stress. My mother has her entire maternal family living in Assam and while they can be of help when needed, they don’t stay in the same house. Only when I choose remote working will I be able to care for my mother as she needs me to. In addition, managing my personal expenses in Bangalore for food and rent is expensive while I also need to take care of my mother's expenses. I must stay at home with my mother and provide her the finest care possible if I want to keep my monthly expenses under control. She would see that I am safe and healthy if I were in front of her, and this would help to keep her mind stress-free as well. Her blood pressure levels could trigger heart attacks, therefore the doctor urged her to rest.

Hence, I request you to accept my application to work remotely and I shall be awaiting your response.
