Boys engage more in computer games as per the pie chart. The involvement ij computer games is about 34%. While girls are not interested in computer games as much as boys. The other popular sports among boys are soccer and skateboarding, which are practiced by 17% and 11% of them, respectively. In addition to dance, girls also enjoyed gymnastics (11%) and netball (15%) as popular sports. Overall, it is clear that boys and girls engage in very different leisure activities.

Band 7.5 Answer

The gender-specific data on children's hobbies is represented in pie charts. In general, boys favor outdoor sports while girls favor interior pursuits. Despite certain similarities, it is clear that boys prefer playing video games while girls prefer dancing as their favorite pastime. Music was chosen by 10% of both genders overall, with participation rates of boys and girls being equal. In a similar vein, 11% of guys favored skateboarding, while the same percentage of girls selected gymnastics.

Looking more closely at the first chart, it can be seen that computer games (in which 34% of the male population participated) are the boys' favorite pastime. Followed by basketball (26% participation rate), soccer (17% of the boy population), and reading (just 2% of the boy population). Approximately 50% of boys enjoy playing outdoor sports, with basketball and soccer being the most popular at 26% and 17%, respectively. And skateboarding is enjoyed by 11% of boys. The second chart, on the other hand, shows that dancing was the most popular activity among the girls, with 27% of the girls participating in it. Reading is the second most favorite pastime among females (21%), who showed more interest in it than did boys. However, netball wasn't left out, as 15% of girls were interested in it, which is almost as many as the percentage (16%) who played video games.

However, computer gaming is the primary passion and favorite pastime of 34% of the boys. Only 2% of boys enjoy reading, despite the fact that it is the second most popular hobby among girls, with 21% of them engaging in it. On the other hand, girls prefer playing indoor games. 11% of them prefer gymnastics, compared to 27% of those who enjoy dancing. Only one outdoor sport is played by girls, and 15% of them prefer netball. While both boys and girls (10%) love listening to music, only 16% of girls play computer games, compared to 34% of guys who prefer it over other activities.

Band 6.5 Answer

The pie charts compare the kinds of cultural and leisure activities that boys and girls engage in based on the results of a survey. Boys seem to commonly favor computer games and outdoor sports at first appearance, while girls seem to be more interested in reading, dance, and gymnastics.

As seen in the illustrations, one-quarter of boys play basketball and more than one third of boys play video games. Additionally, one-tenth of males enjoy skateboarding, and nearly one in five play soccer. The graphic clearly shows that boys enjoy playing video games and participating in outdoor activities. Only 2% of boys read, which indicates a very weak reading habit among them. It's interesting to note that 10% of males and 10% of girls enjoy listening to music.

When it comes to girls' activities, playing video games is less common than it is for guys. Reading and dancing are the most popular activities among girls, each picking up 27% of the total (more than one-fifth are active readers). Gymnastics and netball are the two outdoor sports and activities that female youngsters participate in the most. With respective participation rates of 11% and 15%. It's interesting to note that girls read far more frequently than boys.

However, 34% of the boys' favorite activity and main interest is playing video games on computers. Although reading is the second most popular hobby among girls, with 21% of them doing it, only 2% of boys find it enjoyable. Girls, on the other hand, favor indoor games. While 27% of them adore dancing, 11% of them choose gymnastics. Girls participate in just one outdoor sport, and 15% of them choose netball. Whereas computer games are preferred by 34% of guys over other hobbies, only 16% of girls play them, while both boys and girls (10%) enjoy listening to music.
