Band 6 IELTS Essay

Parents are very concerned about their children's development. As a result, parents try to assist their children with things like puzzles and games in order to accelerate the child's brain development. The best option to sustain children's growth is to engage their minds with puzzles and develop their problem solving skills, as well as realize their interests.

Items such as puzzles, board games, and pictures undoubtedly contribute significantly to a child's development. I am convinced that these items are an unavoidable factor in the development of children ranging from birth to the age of adolescence.

To begin, puzzles, also known as riddles, are a simple task to complete once you get used to them. Children should be encouraged to play puzzle games . Seeing so many puzzle pieces scattered on the table causes their brains to send signals to identify and separate the objects. Following this, children's brains and hands work in tandem, which actually helps them to learn. The second and most important item is board games, which are very common and quite popular among children, but not in all forms. It helps children remember the numbers on the dice, locate the safe and unsafe areas in board games, and understand some dangers such as a snake bite. Additionally, pictures aid children in storing images in their minds to recall them later, either to identify the people or places they visited. As a second preference, I would give board games to children of certain ages, such as Chess or Monopoly. The board games will encourage children to think logically. Those who play chess develop logical thinking because they need to plot different strategies to win. They learn the basics of financial management through Monopoly. A National Geographic Society study found that children's neurological activity doubled when they played Chess. Overall, puzzles, board games, and pictures contribute to a child's overall development and, if ignored, can negatively impact the child's growth.

The development of a child's brain is determined by how we, as parents and adults, shape it during his or her early years. According to research, the majority of brain development occurs between the ages of one and five. Puzzles, board games, and pictures, for example, all contribute significantly to the development of a child's analytical and emotional skills.

A child can easily grasp the fundamental concepts of solving and dealing with real-world problems using these objects. Children learn bonding between family members through games like puzzles and board games, and this also makes them cheerful, so both are beneficial. Board games like Ludo can help them understand and strategize their next move, as well as improve their analytical skills in determining how many steps to add. The game also teaches them about winning and losing, which is a big part of life. A win can boost their confidence, and a loss can motivate them to keep trying for the win. In today's society, IQ is not the only factor used to determine the intelligence of a person; EQ and social quotient also play a role. Using images as a source and asking people to describe what they see in the image allows scientists to draw conclusions about the EQ of the individual. This indicates how well a person understands emotions. Giving a child a picture book to draw in can greatly help a child's EQ.Colors can also reveal what he or she is thinking; for instance, use of bright colors indicates a positive attitude, and vice versa. Finally, we must provide a child with educational items, such as puzzles, board games which help to build their character and personality. Children will learn more effectively with the help of puzzles and games. In the future, all the schools in the world will adapt to teaching visual aids to children.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

My first preference for toddlers would be picture puzzles. Rather than describing a wild animal, such as a tiger or a lion, I believe it is more effective to show a child a picture of the animal. Several surveys conducted by The International Institute of Learning have shown that visual diagrams enable children to learn fifty percent faster.

As a result, puzzles will help children learn concepts faster. As children see a variety of puzzle pieces, their brains send signals that allow them to recognize the objects they know and identify them from the rest.Following this, the child's brain and hands work together to find the correct piece and accurately fit it into the puzzle. The first time children are exposed to puzzles, they are filled with anxiety and fear, and appear astounded compared to those who play them regularly. The second and most important item is board games, which are very common and quite popular among children, but not in all forms. Children should try to play as many different types of board games. This helps them remember the numbers on the dice, and locate the safe and unsafe spots on board games. Pictures assist children in storing images in their minds in order to be able to recall them later, either to identify people or places that they visited. In conclusion, puzzles and pictures are crucial to child development and, if ignored, can negatively impact a child's growth and development.
