Band 8 IELTS Essay

The discipline of office workers is significantly influenced by transportation. Many people contend that government buses provide the most suitable method of transportation to get to work. While particular routes on public transportation make it simpler for a traveler to go where they're going. I believe that a lack of buses reduces the frequency of the buses, making it harder for commuters to get to work on time.

The majority of people find it convenient to go by public transportation. Because there are direct routes from residential communities to the industrial region. As a result, many prefer to take these buses to get to their workplaces. The itineraries of public buses are planned in such a way as to take the shortest possible path and avoid clogged roads. For example, in Amritsar, India, public buses are permitted to go in their own lane to their destinations. This allows them to escape other vehicles' traffic on the roadways. As a result, it allows for quick movement of these vehicles, and as a result, it is regarded as the ideal method of getting to work.

However, there aren't many public buses, which makes it challenging for the average commuter to get to work on time, particularly during rush hour. According to a recent study from New York City, only 25% of city workers use public transportation to get to work. This is because the state buses run infrequently, making it difficult for everyone to get to work on time. People opt to use other alternatives, such as taxis or personal vehicles, to get to work.

In conclusion, even though the state has created a dedicated lane for public buses. To move more quickly in order to avoid lengthy hours of waiting at traffic signals. I think the lack of buses makes it hard for the government to create the greatest profession possible in public transportation.

Band 8.5 IELTS Essay

The majority of people utilize public transportation to travel to work or education in many different countries throughout the world. Which is a concern because this population must use the public transportation system daily and must pay for it. In many nations. The government encourages people to utilize public transportation instead of driving their own automobiles to minimize pollution. But it doesn't support the expense that people must bear. The majority of people must utilize public transportation every day. However in some nations, the expense of such transportation is so high that many would rather use their own cars.

Using public transportation has the advantages of reducing both road congestion and pollution from automobiles. Many students and workers now opt to take public transportation instead of driving their own cars since it saves time. And requires less time to get to work and to school. It also saves time and eliminates the need to maintain a vehicle.

The drawbacks of using public transportation include the fact that it is not safe or clean at all, especially during rush hour. For example, in the morning when everyone is getting on, there may not be even a small space to stand in some countries. Additionally, these days due to the Coronavirus, public transportation is not really safer than driving one's own vehicle. Some students who don't have a budget won't be able to use public transportation because the cost of the ticket in some nations is high.

From the various paragraphs I've written about the benefits and drawbacks of public transportation. I've come to the conclusion that the former outweighs the latter. From this standpoint, I believe that the government should support public transportation. Because some citizens in some countries lack the resources to use it at all. If this were the case, I believe that more people would choose to do so.

Band 9 IELTS Essay

In cities, public transportation is crucial because it makes it easier for people to move from one location to another. Similar to this, it aids in reducing traffic jams and the burning of fossil fuels. In my opinion, it is crucial that the government finance it by creating the necessary infrastructure, paying the operators. And purchasing buses and trams that the general people can use for free.

The funds from the regime will initially help with the construction of physical facilities, including as stations and networks. Within a city, building networks for trams or bus rapid transit is highly expensive. For example, there isn't much land available in Nairobi for the construction of stations. Therefore land must be purchased from private landowners, which might be expensive. As a result, the government ought to participate in order to cover these expenses.

However, the authorities will have the option to purchase trams or buses, and all these assets would stay under their control. Unlike individual investors, they might be able to work out a deal with the producers and purchase it for a discounted price. For instance, BRT lanes are currently being constructed on key city roadways in the state of Kenya. The administration of Tanzania has already implemented it. And the results demonstrate that there are other advantages for the general public. Such as arriving at work earlier and so sparing labor hours that could have been lost in traffic.

The authority will also pay the wages of the public transportation operators in addition to the aforementioned. There will be a need for several employees to work as transporters, touts, and security workers, among other jobs. These people will be needed to operate the stations and drive those trams or buses so that commuters can enjoy their daily excursions.

In conclusion, government assistance will play a significant role in the development of infrastructure. The payment of salaries, and the acquisition of buses and trams. The citizens will benefit greatly from their support.
