Production of Carbon Dioxide in 5 different Countries in 2006 IELTS Writing Task 1 is an IELTS academic topic. This table shows the per capita CO2 emissions in 2006 for five countries: China, the United States, Russia, India, and Japan. It also compares his total tons of CO2 emissions in 2005 and his 2006. The percentage change in his CO2 emissions compared to 2005 and 2006 is also given for 2006. This table shows that CO2 emissions per capita in developed countries are high.

The United States emitted 19.8 million tons of CO2 per capita, followed by Russia and Japan with 12.1 million tons and 9.8 million tons per capita, respectively. China emits 4.6 million tons of CO2 per capita. India has the lowest CO2 emissions per capita at 1.4 million tons. In terms of total CO2 emissions, the United States again takes the lead, in 2005 she emitted 5.879 billion tons of CO2. China followed closely with production of 5.478 billion tons. Russia, India and Japan emitted less than 4,444 billion tons of CO2. Japan had the lowest CO2 emissions in 2005. In just one year, China overtook the United States in CO2 emissions, up 11% from 2005, and Russia, India, and Japan also saw modest increases in their total CO2 emissions. Overall, the United States is the only country to experience a decline in CO2 emissions from 2005 to 2006.

This table shows the amount of carbon dioxide produced in different countries, namely China, USA, Russia, India, and Japan, during 2005-2006. Overall, we can see that China ranks highest in terms of total tons of CO2 production, while the United States has recorded a slight decrease over the period compared to other countries.

From this table, we can see that his CO2 emissions in developed countries are very high. What this means is that in the United States, his per capita CO2 emissions peaked at 19.8 tons. Russia ranks second with 12.1 people per capita, followed by Japan and China with 9.8 and 4.6 people, respectively. On the other hand, India was a country that emits at least 1.4 CO2 per capita.

In terms of tons of total CO2 emissions, the United States initially exceeded other countries, but in 2006 she recorded a significant increase of 339 million tons.
