Topic: Some people think that to prevent illness and disease, governments should make efforts in reducing environmental pollution and housing problems To what extent do you agree or disagree with these statements?

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Many people concur that the government should work to reduce environmental pollution. And housing issues, which will surely aid in the prevention of diseases and illnesses. My opinions coincide with those of these folks because I think that housing issues. And environmental pollution is both very closely related to disease and illness. The following essay will assist in discussing aspects linked to the aforementioned statement with suitable examples. Which will help to further illuminate this issue.

The notion that environmental pollution can have detrimental consequences. The human body has first and foremost been constantly demonstrated by numerous tragic examples. Such as the diagnosis of asthma or lung cancer in residents of industrial regions, which are typically full of air pollution. Similar to noisy environments, those who live there suffer greatly mentally. People can develop a variety of lung ailments due to the smoke and gasses that are released by cars and other forms of public transportation. In order to make our surroundings healthier and consequently happier, the government and we as a society should work together and take serious actions. We should start by teaching people about this issue, which would surely help them stop littering and help them contribute to this cause.

Additionally, these pitiful living conditions deprive individuals of their basic needs. Such as access to clean water, decent sanitation, comfortable employment, etc. Housing issues also provide a whole scene of slums and poor living situations. It is obvious that the government's efforts to enhance living conditions. As well as providing for everyone would contribute to the fight against diseases and illnesses.

So, to sum up, the idea that the government should invest more in taking appropriate actions and housing difficulties has full support from a lot of people. This essay aims to shed some light on this idea with facts and examples. And to prove how damaging things can be for humans and how their health would be damaged by diseases if environmental damage. And housing problems are not dealt with rapidly by the government.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

To stop the diseases and illnesses, the environmental pollution and housing problems need to be stopped and for that, it is necessary to introduce policies and rules. I strongly agree with this statement and this essay will further explain my views that I shall point out. These days, environmental pollution in this world has increased due to the technological advancements going on in the world, many of us like to use the latest services and products. Many of us are now purchasing heavier vehicles and devices which contribute to pollution.

The industrial areas should be far away from the residential areas. Traffic has also increased significantly. Public transport facilities should be provided to common people by the Government. The quality of Air, soil, and water has decreased due to environmental pollution causing various illnesses in humans. Water pollution causes diseases like jaundice, dysentery, and typhoid. Additionally, several problems such as Hearing Problems, Asthma, anxiety, and many more problems have been happening lately. Therefore, such pollution is often threatening to a person’s health and also has a negative influence on the environment.

Moreover, many Housing problems are often being seen lately. Thousands of people still reside in unhygienic places. They are unable to afford a home because of being poor. Dirty surroundings are the breeding grounds for mosquitoes, flies, and bacteria. Also, Due to the rapid increase in the population and therefore forests are continuously being destroyed for construction lately. This will hurt the environment. People continuously try to destroy natural places and habitats and try to use those areas for industrial purposes.

The government should utilize public commercials specifically designed to give proper education on recycling, which would indeed have positive impacts on the ecosystem. This is enough to reflourish an already dead environment. The cost of living has been caused by population concentration in the city. Dispersing facilities and infrastructures into other parts of the state would make people move and would resolve this over-population.

Finally, it is being concluded that the government should avoid environmental pollution and consequently the housing problems by introducing new tax rules and regulations. If this is done properly, then harmful illnesses and diseases might get reduced.

Band 8.5 IELTS Essay

While some ascribe serious health-related difficulties to pollution of our planet's atmosphere and housing challenges these days, I think that governments must take full responsibility to reduce this tremendous hurdle.

It is true that an unprecedented number of people are suffering from environmental disasters and housing shortages. In this way, governments are obligated to eliminate the elements that contribute to the creation of this problem - harmful gases generated by the transportation system (mostly vehicles) and excessive housing costs that are not accessible for the impoverished section of the population - in order to preserve the valued lives of innocent people who lack houses and are suffering such terrible illnesses as cancer, radiation, skin lesions, and others.

The first step would be a compulsory reduction in the number of automobiles used for commuting, and following that, providing free housing for homeless people is a viable alternative to averting the large trend of diseases. As a result, governments play a critical role in modifying the process through which the aforementioned problems occur.

Another thing to consider is that convincing people of the importance of environmental and housing issues is not easy. First, each government should provide its citizens with an adequate source of knowledge so that they not only get rid of their peccadilloes such as wasting and throwing trash - all of which contribute to environmental issues - but also assist other impoverished members of society, paving the way for the heyday in every country. As a result, the question is not just about avoiding difficulties, but also about the realisation of the entire Earth's population to reduce their negative influence on their surroundings.

Finally, the more individuals who notice the threat of polluting sources and housing issues, the more prosperous our world will be.
