Band 8 IELTS Essay

The poor countries have to deal with a lot of problems such as poverty, economics, and agriculture but they also have to deal with the environmental issues which includes the increase in the carbon dioxide level. Some people believe that these countries should deal with the economic problems firstly and later on with the environmental problems. So, we will discuss both the environmental and the economic problems further.

Let’s start with the environmental issues. It is seen that the environmental issues are more severe and dangerous than the economic problems. The carbon content and other toxic gasses are increasing in the environment day by day. The ultra- violet traditions penetrate the ozone layer and reach the earth's atmosphere which increases its temperature. We can clearly observe these effects in our day- to- day life. People are suffering from serious skin problems, and other dangerous problems such as cancer, respiratory diseases, neurological problems, etc. Therefore, it is important to deal with these problems as improving the economic conditions will not provide any benefit to the poor countries.

Apart from this, to become a rich country, it is not necessary to use fossil fuels only for energy consumption. Countries should prefer to use the solar system or hydropower for energy consumption. These will improve their environmental conditions as it is very important to enhance the quality of air. Maintaining the environmental conditions will also attract the tourists towards it as they will enjoy their tour in the fresh environment free from the pollutants. Therefore, keeping this point in mind, the developing and poor countries should improve their atmospheric conditions.

Now coming to the economic conditions, it is also important to improve the financial condition of the country. So, the government set a proper plan to improve the economic conditions of a country. But some people believe that poor countries should become rich by improving their economic conditions first and later on think about the environmental situation. I totally disagree with this point. Improving the monetary conditions only will not make the poor country rich. It is also important to maintain the atmospheric conditions to make the environment peaceful and attractive.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

All countries, rich and poor, must adapt to climate change. Adaptation should address risks from climate change and extreme weather, for example by safeguarding agriculture, managing the impact of rising seas, and making infrastructure more resilient.

It is important to reduce the carbon footprint as it is adversely affecting the planet. Rising temperatures, year-long rain showers, tropical storms, wildfires, melting ice caps, and other unusual climate changes are a result of increasing CO2 emissions. Shifting precipitation patterns are affecting the growing patterns of plants. As a result, indigenous vegetation is moving to cooler climates. While sea levels are rising, shores are eroding, and ecosystems are getting destroyed. All of this leads to the displacement of various coastal cities and towns and the total disappearance of certain islands and island nations.

Besides the environment and wildlife, increased carbon footprints can also impact human health, especially those of children residing in unhygienic and drought-prone areas. Climate change and drought interfere with the growth of food crops. This, in turn, results in the unavailability of crops and increased malnutrition. We can do several things to control our carbon footprints on a personal level. The obvious solution is to switch to plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and all-electric vehicles (EVs). These vehicles typically produce lower tailpipe emissions compared to petrol or diesel vehicles. Apart from this, it is not necessary to use fossil fuels only for energy consumption. Countries should prefer to use the solar system or hydropower for energy consumption. These will improve their environmental conditions as it is very important to enhance the quality of air. Maintaining the environmental conditions will also attract the tourists towards it as they will enjoy their tour in the fresh environment free from the pollutants.

Therefore improving the economic condition is not only sufficient for making the under-developed country into a developed country. This will not change the poor countries to the rich countries. It is important to check the environmental conditions of the country because a good environment will bring peace to your life and a poor environment will bring only frustration to your life.

The poor countries have to deal with a lot of problems but they also have to deal with the environmental issues which includes the increase in the carbon dioxide level. Some people believe that these countries should deal with the economic problems firstly and later on with the environmental problems. So, we will discuss this problem further.

Earth receives almost all of its energy from the sun in the form of ultraviolet rays and or infrared rays. The gasses that absorb energy are commonly known as Greenhouse Gases. One of their major roles is to maintain the ecosystem by keeping the earth's temperature at a roughly constant level. Nowadays nearly anything you do, from traveling to turning on the light in your house, produces greenhouse gases. The production of greenhouse gasses should be controlled so it will stop from being a threat to our earth’s environment.Limitations of the greenhouse gasses are as follows:If produced in excess amount, these gasses will trap more energy and eventually the earth's temperature will rise.Rising temperatures will alter the whole ecosystem of the earth.

In an increasingly carbon-constrained world, solar energy technologies represent one of the least carbon-intensive means of electricity generation. Solar power produces no emissions during generation itself. Countries should prefer to use the solar system or hydropower for energy consumption. These will improve their environmental conditions as it is very important to enhance the quality of air.

Improving the financial condition not only makes the poor countries rich. An underdeveloped country with a clean environment is far much better than a developed country with a polluted environment. So, it is important to maintain the air quality of the environment. It is important to improvise the atmospheric condition of the country and then improve the financial condition to make the under-developed countries a developed country.
