Plastic bags, plastic bottles and plastic packaging are bad for the environment IELTS Writing Task 2 consists of three sample answers provided below. In the current world environmental concerns have increased. It is an interview that plastic has a huge negative impact on the environment. It is polluting the land water and the burning of the plastics is also detrimental to the air. It is used that limiting the use of the plastic is important and would reduce its negative impact on earth. There certain Grave damages plastic causes in the environment which will be discussed within the following essay. Firstly, use of plastic is made through different products like plastic bags, bottles , packaging materials et cetera which are non biodegradable in nature. They remain in the environment for a long time and cause drastic effects on the environment.

Due to the presence of plastic in the environment soil pollution has increased and the burning of the plastic dump has resulted in an increase in air pollution and the study of life threatening diseases. The mixing of plastic packaging with the soil affects the breakability of the soil and affects its fertility negatively. Additionally the plastic waste when it reaches the water bodies causes the aquatic animals living in them to joke and I. Burning of the plastic releases poisonous gases into the air leading to increase of greenhouse gases and affecting climate change. Hence the use of plastic has led to disasters impacting air, water and soil and has increased transmission of diseases among animals and humans in the society. It is important that the use of plastic is limited in the most effective ways in order to mitigate the issues. The government needs to take drastic measures in order to ban the use of plastic completely in different countries of the world. It has become important for the government to adopt the rule of using biodegradable plastic or plastic. This can be reused and recycled in order to reduce the carbon footprint. The rules and punishment for the use of plastic needs to become strict and it is essential that cooperation of the people in this society is endured. Hence, the environmental damage caused by plastic is drastic. Sustainable measures with the initiatives of the Government and social cooperation can be a solution to reduce its impact.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

With the rising issue of climate change the use of plastics can be considered to have increased concerns around the globe. The essay would address the adverse impact of plastic on earth and evaluate actions that the government should undertake against the issue. To begin with, the non biodegradable property contained in plastics can be identified to be extremely harmful to the environment.

Plastic bags, bottles or packaging materials used when dumped on the roads or on the land do not mix with the soil and further impacts the soil fertility. The decrease in the fertility of the soil reduces growth of trees in crops creating an imbalance in the ecosystem. Further the consumption of plastic containers or bottles affects the health of people. These plastic bottles are containers containing microbiologicals that directly are affected from the sunlight and when mixed with liquid. Finally plastic is also dumped on the water bodies which impacts the health and the existence of water inhabitants leading them to die. Taking into consideration what governments and higher authorities in the world need to do if you take proper action against it. The World Health Organisation has already published to report again this struggling of the water in habits due to plastic garbage. Several measures have been taken. This includes governments trying to ban the use of plastic bags. Further the governments of various countries have been promoting the use of bags made of cloth as a sustainable way of consumption. Full stop plastic bottles are being replaced with glass bottles or usable plastic. In these grave situations the cooperation and support of the customers is required and sustainable consumption has increased to a huge extent. Higher it is a long way to go till the carbon footprint caused due to the plastic is reduced.

The consumption of plastic bags, bottles packaging etcetera make the lives of people quite easier. However the immediate impact for the use of plastic has been experienced by the environment. The environmental effect for the consumption of plastic has been creating a menace across the globe. It has been resulting in the increase of carbon footprint and greenhouse gases in the environment. Considering that climate change is a huge concern in the 21st century, certain solution-based actions need to be implemented by different countries of the world.

For most it becomes important to identify the consumption of plastics in food. This is because plastics do not decompose with the soil and release toxic Chemicals that affect the soil fertility there by affecting the growth of crops. The impact of the plastic dump on the soil is also affected on the water bodies. The garbage gets watched away or many a times dumb within the water bodies. Animals swallow and injust plastic materials leading them to their death. The toxic gases released from the burning of the plastic garbage in the atmosphere has led the climate change issue to become more interesting. The governments of different countries in the world have been engaging with environmental experts of their countries to find solutions to the problem. some governments have banned the use of non biodegradable and non recycling plastic in society. Others have taken action to replace them with much more sustainable options. People are made more aware regarding the detrimental impact of the use of plastic. Most shopping centres and manufacturers have been taking effective measures in order to reduce their use of plastic and hence lowering their carbon footprint in the environment. These education plastics need to be conducted in an unprecedented manner that would help protect the environment as well as the entire ecosystem.
