Plans Showing a Public Park When It First Opened in 1920 and The Same Park Today IELTS Writing Task 1

To enable access for car park users, a side entry from Eldon Street has been created directly to the right of the park. However, the park now contains an underground parking lot. From Eldon Street, the park's entrance, you can see the rose garden, which is now the park's focal point, surrounded by benches. The fountain that once stood in the middle of the park is now gone. A glasshouse and some benches were originally located to your right; the water feature has now taken its place. Where there used to be a rose garden and pond for water plants, there is now a café and a play area for kids opposite the water feature. On the left side of the park, there used to be a stage for performing musicians. The amphitheatre, which hosts musical performances, has taken its position. The rose garden on the Arnold Avenue side is the only aspect of this area that has not changed.

The only portions that were left intact were the gates and one little garden. There was also a noticeable rearrangement of the benches. In addition, the fountain has been replaced with a rose garden that has enough seats all around it. The former music stage to the left of the new garden has been transformed into a much larger amphitheatre facing the other way. Allowing for concerts in the park. One would arrive at the fountain in the middle of the garden after entering by either entrance. A stage with seating and rose gardens on either side was located to the left of the fountain. The park's right side was more deserted than its left. The third rose garden was located to the northwest of Arnold Avenue. A tiny plant pond and benches could be found next to the rose garden. On the other end, a glasshouse was located in front of the rose garden. The park as it is now is noticeably different. It has a ton of amenities inside. There is also a convenient entrance at the southwest corner of the park, close to the waterfall, it provides easy access to the underground parking area. A rose garden with chairs surrounds the park's central area. An amphitheatre built in the shape of a semicircle is located to the left of the rose garden. The rose garden and pond that were visible on the other side of the park in the 1920 layout have been replaced by a café and a play area for kids. The park now boasts a lovely two-levelled water feature with water flowing from top to bottom in place of the glasshouse. The two points of entry and the rose garden on the northwest corner are the only three elements of the previous layout that the developers have kept.
