Band 6 Answer
The maps show how Walton Museum changed between 2008 and 2012. It is obvious that a lot has changed in just four years. The South wing had two stories in 2008, and a path ran along its west side. A particular display area, a store, and a changing room were all located on the first level. The second floor served as the lobby and reception area.
Between the store and the cloakroom, there were stairs. A reading room was located next to the reception. This building had four floors by the year 2012, and there was an elevator that went from the ground floor to the top floor. The cloak room was replaced by a children's play area because it was moved to the reception. Towards the eastern side of the elevator on the second floor, above the reading room, a self-service café was opened. A restaurant was built above the reception area and changing area to the west of the elevator. On the upper floor, above the café, a second exhibition room was constructed. An entrance hall with a terrace over it was constructed above the special exhibition room. Overall, the South Wing underwent a significant change, with the exception of the shop and the unique exhibition space.
Band 6.5 Answer
The changes in the Walton Museum between 2008 and 2012, following its reconstruction, are depicted in the two photographs that follow. Overall, it is evident that, although there were certain similarities following the museum's restoration in 2012. There were also a number of significant variations between that year and 2008 in comparison to that year.
The first image depicts the unique exhibition room, shop, and clock room components that were present on the first level in 2008. Therefore, steps had to be built in order to access the second story. There were two areas on the second level, one for reception and the other for a reading room. In a westward direction, the south wing entrance was created. The 2012 version of the plan is shown in the second image. Special display space and stores on the first floor did not change. However, the clock room was replaced with a play area for kids. The reading room on the second level is still located where the reception, clock room, and entry hall were previously. This year, a new third and fourth story was constructed. On the third story, a restaurant and self-service cafe were added, and on the fourth floor, an exhibition room was constructed. However, a lift was constructed, and the stairs were eliminated.

The maps display changes at Walton Museum between 2008 and 2012. Significant developments took place within four years. In 2008, the South wing had two stories, and the west side of the building was bordered by a path. On the ground floor, there was a particular exhibition area, a shop, and a changing room. The lobby and reception room were on the second story.
There was a flight of stairs between the shop and the changing area. Right adjacent to the front desk was a reading room. By the year 2012, this structure had four levels, and it featured an elevator that connected the bottom floor to the top floor. The cloakroom had been relocated to the reception and there was now a children's play area in its place. On the second floor, above the reading area and next to the elevator on the east side, a self-service café was established. Over the lobby and changing room, on the west side of the elevator, a restaurant was constructed. Another exhibition room was built above the café on the upper floor. The particular display area was placed atop a terrace-topped entrance hall that had been built. Except for the shop and the special exhibition area, the South Wing received a substantial transformation overall.
