Model Answer 1:

The following two pie charts depict the percentage of the population living in rented houses and the self owned houses in the United Kingdom( UK,) in the year 2007 and the year 1991 respectively. The given pie charts help in distinguishing between the percentage of the population living in rented houses and the self owned houses in the UK and comparing the outcomes in both the years and analysing the result from the following pie diagrams.

In the year 1991, 60% of the population in Uk lives in self owned houses while in comparison, 70% of the people owned self occupied houses in 2007, which implies an increase of 10% in population in the United Kingdom occupying self homes. The percentage of people preferring social rented houses in the year 1991 is 23% whereas the percentage of population living in social rented houses in the year 2007 is just 17%, which clearly shows that the percentage of people living in social rented houses in the UK has gradually decreased by 6%, which implies that the population of the country are not interested to live in social rented houses.

The percentage of the population of the United Kingdom living in private renting houses in the year 1991 is just 11% and in comparison with 2007, the percentage remains the same. The least sector is social housing, in the year The percentage of the population of the United Kingdom living in private renting houses in the year 1991 is just 6% while the percentage of the population living in social owned houses in the year 2007 is just 2%, which is very less . And it implies that people of the newer generation are not living in the socially owned houses.

Model Answer 2:

The given two pie charts show the percentage of the total population living in the United Kingdom in the type of houses i.e. house owned and house rented in 1991 and 2007. There is growth of 5 million houses from 22 million houses in In the year 1991 to 27million in the year 2007.

In the year 1991, more than 50% of the population lived in self owned houses in the United Kingdom and it clearly shows that the majority of people living in the UK lives in a self owned house and it is the largest sector. The second largest sector was the social renting house which accounts for 23% of the total population living in the UK. The next sector was the privately rented house which accounts for 11% and the smallest sector was the socially rented house which accounts for only 6% of the total population living in the United Kingdom.

Whereas in the year 2007, 70% of the person belonging to the United kingdom occupies self owned houses, which clearly depicts the increase of 10% from 60%-70% in the 16 years and we can analyze that in case of increase of population the percentage of self owned houses also increased thus people in the United kingdom are preferring self owned houses than rented houses, while the increase in self owned house leads to decrease in percentage of social rented house to 6% from 23% in 1991 to 17% in 2007. The percentage of population for 2007 living in private rented houses remains the same as 11% as in the year l991, but considering the actual amount it has little bit increased as the percentage of population also increased. The smallest sector in the year 2007 is the social houses which has decreased from 6% in 1991 to 2% in 2007 , which gives a proper analysis that people are not preferring social houses and it is the most unpopular kind of housing.

Model Answer 3:

The above bar diagram shows the data of percentage of population living in self owned houses and on rent houses in the united kingdom for the different years between the years from 1918 to 2011. Black bars are used to indicate the percentage of the population living in self owned houses in the United Kingdom in different years while the grey bars are used to indicate the percentage of the population living in rented houses in the United Kingdom in different years.

According to the data given above , we can state that In the year 1918,the majority of the population lived in rented houses(78%) and 22% of the population lived in self occupied houses. In the year 1939, the graph of self occupied houses has risen by 10% from 22% to 32% while there occurs a drastic change in graph of rented house and it came down to 68%. In the year 1953, the graph of percentage of population living in self owned houses and rented houses in the united kingdom remains the same ( as in the year 1939), but the population of the country may have increased in last 14yrs, so according to numerical count, the numerical figure may vary.

In 1961, the percentage of people living in self owned houses again rose by 9% . 1971 was the first year in which the percentage of population living in the United Kingdom occupies a self owned house and the percentage of people living in a rented house is approximately the same (50% each) . In the year 1981, the graph of percentage of people living in self owned houses observed a great rise by 10% while the graph for rented houses fell down by 10%.And in the year 1991,2001 and 2011 the percent bar diagram follows the same pattern as the percent of people living in self owned houses increases and percentage of people living in rented house decreases. This implies that people are preferring self owned houses in comparison with rented houses.
