People Today do not Feel Safe either at Home or When They Are Out IELTS Writing Task 2

Individuals have been attacked with awful crime reports of murder, rape, or house robbery just about every day. This is one of the main factors that why people do not feel safe in their own homes or public spaces. This is a precise issue in developing countries where the public is desperate enough to rely on committing criminalities for food, money, or survival. This problem can be solved by increasing the penalty fine even if it’s a small street crime. In the opinion of the destructive consequences, it can cause to victims, the numerous month prison sentence that is obligatory on such criminals is too lenient and for that reason shall be made longer. In addition to this reason, few more approaches can be accepted to put the brakes on the death rates on the road. For instance, the government can do improvements in the infrastructure and the road situation.

In conclusion, street crime is the most common reason why more and more individuals do not feel safe in today’s world. I recommend that governments and individuals tackle the feelings of insecurity amongst the public by working together to decrease crime rates. It is anticipated that this matter is resolved before it gets out of hand.

There are many reasons why people have insecurities but the most possible reason can be the component of male dominance which is still projecting among the illiterate in this so-called gender-equal society. No matter how much we say India is a gender-equivalent country, it is not true. This issue leads to misconducts like sexual harassment and domestic violence. According to a recent survey conducted in India, the foremost reason behind the escalating rape cases is the narrow-minded nature of illiterate youngsters. The youngsters have no proper education to judge what is right and wrong. The solution to this issue includes the authorities to encourage education and deliver everyone with free educational facilities. Only with high literacy high thinking is derived, giving birth to a more peaceful society where individuals will feel safe even when going out late at night. Individuals when they are literate they develop manners that make them behave positively. Such behavior will lead to a decrease in their decisions of wrongdoings.

To complete, unemployment and male-dominant nature in mixture with the high illiteracy rate are the supreme important causes behind the insecurity among people today. I trust that by the regime investing in newer employment parts and endorsing free education nationwide, such a concern can certainly be controlled. New employment will give opportunities to youngsters to earn by themselves and will also give a chance to educated girls to work.

People can’t trust leaving their homes as they will always feel anxious and scared about any uncertainty to happen. Moreover, due to the substantial surge of private transportation lately, the roads are more condensed with cars or motorbikes leading to accidents arising more often than ever before. Several accidents that lead to severe injuries or fatalities of travelers have been witnessed. People have road accidents due to the lenient behavior of few people who do not drive safely like bus drivers or people who drink and drive. Such people are the reason why travelers witness injuries or deaths.

Though, there are various solutions to support people dealing with these difficulties. Initially, authorities should build up the security system by positioning more officers in the habitat regions as well as installing more CCTVs for surveillance footage. Demolishing education and decreasing the unemployment rate to help diminish crimes remarkably. Furthermore, public transportation needs to progress more to meet the daily demand so that the public can freely switch to the usage of buses or trains, which are the safest means of transportation. The fewer private transportation on the street, the fewer accidents are bound to happen.
