Model Answer 1

We occasionally attend ceremonies and festivities, thus they are a part of our lives. Celebration is important to many people, and for some, it is a way of life. But there is a price to be paid for these occasions. Many individuals feel that paying for extravagant festivities and ceremonies is a waste of money and that it should be stopped since they are not necessary. Everything should, in my opinion, be done moderately.
Celebrations undoubtedly have a significant impact on our lives. People report that they are finding their lives to be increasingly stressful as workplace competition increases. Additionally, they put in extra hours, frequently without pay, trying to stand out in a job market that is more competitive than ever. People would therefore need a mechanism to release all of this stress. The majority of the time, parties and festivities are when stressed-out employees locate this entrance. Perhaps it provides them a chance to reflect on the positive aspects of life—like love and companionship—away from the busy workplace.
However, a lot of individuals believe that spending money on parties is a waste of both time and money. In fact, they believe that doing such a thing prevents one from achieving great things. They felt that such a large sum of money, which is spent on food and party accessories, could be used for more important things, like education.
Celebrations are important in our lives, in my opinion, and I think that everyone should take part. But everything ought to be done moderately. After all, budgeting your spending is crucial as well.
In conclusion, having celebrations helps us to cope with the stress we experience every day. Although expenses should be kept in check, there are still other crucial areas of life to consider, such as career advancement.

Model Answer 2

Most families take some time each year to spend together, whether it be through informal get-togethers or customary occasions like Thanksgiving. I somewhat agree with the issue and think that individuals sometimes go too far in spending money on these affairs. Despite the fact that there are numerous benefits associated with these events, such as the strengthening of connections.
We must first comprehend the advantages of these gatherings. For children in their adolescence, it is crucial to be in social and safe contexts so they may learn and develop basic soft skills. Especially the ones they will need in their future lives. However, contemporary technological developments have made us drift away. It is essential to engage in family-friendly activities to avoid miscommunication and further separation. As a result, it is vital for both age groups to spend some time together in order to develop deeper ties.
In these situations, people may have a tendency to overinvest. As we've established, the primary goal of these gatherings is to foster intimacy, thus overly planning them wouldn't necessarily improve the results. Unfortunately, examples of this are all around us, especially in wealthy families. For instance, as reported by the BBC, a young Dubai couple spent over $100,000 in 2020 on the Burj Khalifa at their gender reveal party. One would contend that this money could have been used far more effectively to help others or to support their own needs.
In conclusion, spending adequate time with your loved ones is crucial because it's good for you, your kids, and other family members. But you should always use caution to avoid going overboard with your purchases.

Model Answer 3

For many people, spending money on the festivities has taken on status-symbol status. Destination weddings are currently a new trend in several nations, along with extravagant birthday celebrations.
First of all, these occasions involve family get-togethers, providing opportunities for relatives to strengthen their bonds and forge priceless memories. In a modern culture where everyone is busy in their own world, occasions like weddings bring family members together under one roof. And it allows them to spend quality time together. For instance, a recent article from "Times of India" reports that 70% of families in marriage spend the most time together.
Second, these ceremonies have helped numerous businesses, like catering services and photographers. And also, event management companies by creating new jobs. Employees of such businesses risk losing their jobs if people fail to commemorate such events. For instance, many event management companies had to close because of financial loss during a Covid -19 pandemic crisis where social meetings were prohibited.
However, many people spend a lot of money on birthdays or weddings simply to demonstrate their social status and affluence. Such parties can be funded by the money used to throw them. A specific segment of the population that is struggling to meet their fundamental requirements can profit from this affluence. A wealthy couple recently married simply in Kerala and donated the wedding proceeds to an orphanage. This sum made it possible for 100 orphanage students to receive free education.
To sum up, throwing large parties can be advantageous for strong family ties and for event companies, but this money can also be used for the benefit of humanity. So, in my opinion, the general public should try to keep the expense of such events as low as possible and aid the underprivileged.
