People Should Get Married before they are 30 IELTS Writing Task 2 consists of three sample answers provided below. Topic: People should be encouraged to get married before they are 30. Do you agree with the statement? If yes, justify the explanation in your words.

When the time is right, things fall in place. When the time is right, life will have a meaning. Be it the work or studies or career plans or marriage, the things must fall in the right place accordingly to do the right thing at the right time in the right place. One of the most important parts of life is Marriage.

Marriage is a bond between the man and woman that includes various responsibilities, commitment and proper plan. When the partners are understanding they can handle it easily and enjoy a smooth relationship. According to the Child Marriage Restraint Act, the minimum age for women and men is 18 and 21. Most of the people marry between the age of 20 to 25.

At the same time, some also prefer to marry between the age of 25 to 30. It is sometimes said that people should be encouraged to get married before they are 30. I did with this point of view. No matter what the age is, it is the partner who matters in a relationship. So, even the marriages in the forties are good and there are many people leading a happy and healthy marriage life.

Firstly, the people in adulthood are more mature and quite good at understanding any type of situation. By spending more time they can develop a bond, trust in each other, support each other for their dreams and will be ready to face their life together. In short, they can create a better future with a better version of themselves.

Secondly, at this age the couples are highly strong and are fit enough to give birth to healthier children. So, there won’t be any complications in the parents or children’s health. Thirdly, there will be a decrease in the divorce cases. After spending more time together and getting to know each other very well, there are quite less chances for them to quarrel. They understand and solve their own problems in no time without exaggerating.

Be it regarding the personal or social benefits, it is clear that the people getting married before 30 can have a safe and healthy family life. Individual growth among the people and socio economic growth among the country can be witnessed. So, the Government must bring about awareness and encourage people to get married before they are 30.

Marriage is an important part of an individual’s life. It is the long term decision and life long bond or relationship that lasts forever once decided. Finding a perfect, compatible and suitable life partner is one of the best things that can ever happen in one’s life. When the compatibility of the couple is the main thing that arises during a marriage, age is another factor which is equally highlighted.

The society made it a taboo that the people must marry at a young age within 25 and looks down on the unmarried people of age 30. It is sometimes said that people should be encouraged to get married before they are 30. I do not agree with this point of view. The minimum age for marriage is considered to be 21. And there is no limitation for the maximum age.

Age is just a number. Finding the Mr. and Mrs. Right is the most important thing than the age reference. At this age, people are individually more mature, financially stable, mentally prepared and ready to deal with any kind of situation. They can make decisions for themselves and the whole family and lead a prosperous life. A good couple brings up good children and a good family. Good people and good families make up a good society. And good society, good community creates a good Country. What else matters than these undeniable facts.

In short, good financial status, prospering career, suitable partner and healthy marriage life are the only things required in one’s life. Undoubtedly, marriage before or after the age of 30 doesn’t make much difference with all these wonderful things in life.

Besides these, there are many things required for a happy and healthy marriage. But as long as the couple’s stay true to each other, stays together and supports each other in everything, there is nothing that cannot be handled. Take the decision of marriage only for love but not for the society or family or pressure or age.

Model Answer 3:

It used to be that most people would get married within 25. Child marriages were even more common than before. Unlike the past, now in modern society, many are getting married in their thirties and forties. And they are leading a happy life. But sometimes it is said that people should be encouraged to get married before they are 30.

I totally disagree with this point of view. Young people rush to get married as soon as they develop their relationship. Without spending some time together and without understanding each other, they rush to marry and this leads to conflicts and difference in opinions later. In worst cases this may also lead to divorce. They would be affected and their children would be more affected at the same time. The future generations wouldn’t get enough family and financial support. It causes severe social problems among the society.

Also, the young couples may just be working in a company. They wouldn’t have savings and this leads to serious financial problems. Once they get married, they need to take care of themselves and the family. Being fresher employees they may have to face heavy workload and pressure. And so, they get disturbed mentally. It leads to emotional imbalance. Young couples may have to struggle hard to meet their ends and live a balanced healthy life.

Women are not strong enough to give birth in their twenties. This raises complications in the health of the parents and children as well. Getting married at an early age also results in getting pregnant early. This is not good for the babies and mothers health.

From the following points, we can conclude that the individuals and society face negative impacts due to early marriages. So, the couple’s must be given their choice to get married without the age consideration. All that matters is the true loving partner who cares for their partner. And age is just a number. So I strongly agree that people should be encouraged to get married at any time irrespective of their age.
