Model Answer 1

The basic nature of human beings is to have desires which tend to increase with time and are never completely satisfied with what they have. In a world that is growing more materialistic than ever, I agree with the fact that people have a never-ending desire to want more than what they already have. The essay would elucidate my opinion against the statement with supporting reasons.

The psychology of humans tends to function in a way where they are never satisfied with what they have. People tend to always want more and do something different despite already having and doing something different. Our needs and wants have no end and tend to rather increase every day. People’s mentality of already having something is not enough and they want more.

There are people who have numerous things in their life from wealth to luxury and comfort and still complain about not having enough. The world which has grown materialistic is more concerned about how it could get more and fulfil more desires rather than being satisfied with what it already has.

However, wanting more can be considered to be a positive aspect for every human being because it can provide a person with the motive to work hard enough to earn what they want. When people feel the need to have something more or different, it is only to make themselves happy and achieving more can be considered as a sign of happiness.

It may be identified that What does not satisfy people is the inability to fulfil their desires which makes them want more from life. Hence, in order to achieve happiness and fulfil their goals, wanting cannot be considered pessimistic but not being satisfied and complaining at all times can be considered a negative trait.

Model Answer 2

Humans have the ability to work hard and achieve certain things in their life that they want and need and these wants to tend to grow with time. It is basic to human behaviour for wanting more than what one already has and never be satisfied. I would certainly argue in favour of the statement and provide my reasons in the essay.

Human psychology works in a way where people want to have certain things and get them by working hard enough for them. Whether it is money or a house or a car or anything they want to do in life, people’s expectations always tend to increase and go high. However, people are not really satisfied with what they have and tend to want always complain about wanting more.

People’s tendency to want more and more never changes as human satisfaction might come from numerous things. Whether it’s a job or travelling to a new place, people want to find things which offer them more and they are never satisfied with it. This means that people always find a way to complain about their life being unsatisfactory because of something they do not have.

However, many people might consider wanting more as a way to achieve goals in life whether in personal or professional life. It is possible for people to want more only to achieve more in life rather thereby being optimistic about it.

While a positive aspect of wanting more from life can be considered in terms of ensuring that people can find a way to achieve life goals, never being satisfied with what they have is a negative trait which I consider might have a negative effect on how they lead their life. While wanting more is not wrong, being satisfied with what people have is important.

Model Answer 3

Human behaviour is based on achieving new things and wanting everything they like. Accordingly, their demands and needs never tend to end and people are never satisfied thereby wanting more every time. However, I tend to disagree with this statement and would provide my reasons through this essay.

The world has become materialistic enough and people always have needs and demands that they want to fulfil. These wants and desires of people are never-ending and tend to increase consistently thereby wanting more.

However, not being satisfied is a trait that can be considered to be negative as people need to be satisfied with whatever they have achieved in life. Effectively, people find it difficult to experience satisfaction considering their wants are always increasing.

On the other hand, people having the psychology of wanting more can be considered to be optimistic based on their happiness of achieving more and higher. Accordingly, people find it fulfilling when they are able to fulfil their needs and want to achieve more and more.

Hence, while people tend to want more and more of something and do something different, people’s satisfaction can never be measured by how much they have. I consider that people are satisfied with things when they are able to fulfil it and the wanting more implies for achieving more which gives them real happiness.
