Two Maps

Model Answer 1:

The map illustrated above shows the transformation of a barren island into a tourist spot to give a boost to tourism there. This map shows how a barren island has been transformed with the construction of different facilities for accommodation, enjoyment, food, etc. of the tourists. Speaking broadly the construction on the barren island has given a boost to the tourism sector there where the population of tourists has increased manifold before.

Firstly, the before construction map depicts the barren island with a beach, surrounded by ocean on all sides and some natural vegetation like trees. This condition of the island has barely invited any tourists to visit the island as there is no tourist attraction for the visitors.

The After construction has transformed the island with the construction of different facilities for the attraction of the tourists like the swimming facilities, accommodation facilities for them to enjoy their vacations with their family and friends. The construction has also provided for the restaurant with a dining facility and a reception area to cater to the food and relaxation demands on this isolated island surrounded by sea. Motorable roads and footpaths have also been constructed for the easy convenience of the people. The accommodation in the western part of the island is connected to the beach through a footpath where the tourists can easily reach the beach area and enjoy their swimming experience. Yachts for cruising and racing have also been present in the southern side of the sea for the water sports adventure-loving tourists who want to explore the sea adventures in their lives. Also, a vehicle track connected with the pier in the southern area is present. The pier has also been constructed to let the tourists enjoy the sea at the closest.

The main attraction of this island after construction is that the natural vegetation and environment have not been hampered for economical benefits. The trees have not been laid down to create more space for the tourists; the real identity of the island is kept intact. Economic growth has not been made sacrificing the environment and natural vegetation.

Model Answer 2:

The map shown in the above picture depicts the transformation of an island into a tourist destination through the construction facilities to cater to the needs of the tourists and make the island an attractive tourist spot. The picture shows the before and after construction map of the island where, before the construction, the island was just a barren land with vegetation and barely any human beings, but after the construction of different facilities, the island witnessed a large influx of tourists.

The 'before map' of the island shows that the island is just a barren piece of land with no humans there and a few trees showcasing the vegetative richness of the island. The eastern side of the island is vegetatively rich as compared to the western side of the island. However, On the western part of the island, there is a beach with no men playing, swimming, or enjoying themselves. The island is surrounded by the sea on all sides with the climate being moderate and high humidity due to the presence of the sea.

The after-construction map of the island shows the transformation of the map into a tourist spot with different facilities keeping in mind the tourist's needs and comfort. The accommodation service is provided on the island for the tourists to easily enjoy their vacations staying at the accommodation. Also, the dining and relaxing demands of the tourist are fulfilled with the construction of the restaurants and receptions. Motorable roads and footpaths are also another highlight of the after-construction scene for the easy locomotion of the tourists. The reception is connected to the pier on the sea through a motorable road. Also, the accommodations are connected with the beach through a footpath where the tourists can enjoy their swimming freely. With that, yachts are also present in the southern part of the sea for boat racing and adventure experiences for tourists.

All this has been done to make the island a favorite tourist spot for the visitors here and to grow the economy of the island through the tourism sector. However, what makes the island more attractive and special is the vegetation here that has remained untouched throughout the construction.

Model Answer 3:

The tourism sector is the most booming sector of the economy these days. Even the small area of land has been constructed into a tourism spot to infuse more tourists and boost the growing tourism sector. The same can be seen in the maps given in the above picture where the map shows the before and after transformation scene of an island surrounded by the sea on all sides.

Before going on to what all construction has been done on the island, let's ponder its economical and ecological factors of it. The before picture of the map shows the barren island that has no economical value attached to it as it barely had any humans present there, however, ecologically, there can be seen the presence of some vegetation with few trees on the island and sea. However, after the construction, the island has become both economically and ecologically beneficial. Taking the economical factor into consideration, the tourism sector has been an important part of the economy, and the transformation of the island into a tourist spot will give a boost to the tourism sector here and indirectly to the economy as a whole. Also, with the influx of tourists, the demand for food, and accommodation will increase which in turn boosts the supply of the products. Also, this will help in generating employment and create more jobs for the people, helping in the eradication of poverty. All this in turn will help boost the economy indirectly. Ecologically, what can be done through the maps is that after the construction, the natural vegetation of the island is kept intact which will help in creating a natural environment of the island with fresh air and environment.

Taking the construction into consideration, the second map shows the development of the accommodation facilities for housing the tourists, and restaurants and reception for dining and recreational aspects of the tourists. Also, motorable roads and footpaths have been constructed for the easy locomotion of the tourists. The beach has been prepared to cater to the swimming needs of the tourists, the pier has also been provided in the southern part of the sea for the tourists to take full enjoyment of the evening view of the island and witness the sea. The barren island has been converted into an attractive tourist spot with several facilities.
