Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Undoubtedly, late parenting is becoming more and more common in today's urban centers of both developed and developing countries. Some people believe that this trend has certain advantages, while others hold opposing opinions. While I do, in part, agree that it is a positive development for a family. I also believe that it may have more negative impacts, which I will attempt to explain below using my own perception.

First off, as is common in most occupations nowadays, young people must prioritize their careers during the formative years of their lives. As a result, some people believe that having children later in life would have numerous advantages. First of all, celebrities like film actresses and actors need to concentrate on their careers since they have children at a young age. It may harm their prospects of being well-known and famous. As a result, people like movie stars choose to marry in their later years.

Second, older people typically have more work experience of years spent in the workforce. And are better able to manage their finances than younger people who have just begun their careers. Naturally, those who have successfully adapted to their environment. Are likely to provide for their children's fundamental necessities and a better quality of life. Others, in contrast, hold opposing viewpoints.

They contend that older persons may encounter more challenges. In terms of parenting, these adults were unable to spend enough time with their families due to the increased work demands of their jobs. Which led to a lack of closeness, attachment, and bonding with their children. In addition, the majority of people aged 30 or older are afflicted with common diseases. Including high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart attacks as a result of the modern lifestyle changes. As a result, there is a strong likelihood that these diseases will be genetically passed on to future generations.

To summarize, considering the aforementioned facts, it is advised to start a family at a normal age rather than waiting until later in life. Even though work considerations are unavoidable in the early stages of life.

Band 8.5 IELTS Essay

In today's society, a growing number of couples are choosing to start families later in life. According to me, it has more negative effects than positive ones.

There seem to be two main reasons why people decide to have children later in life in terms of rewards. They can appreciate life more when they are young, for starters. It seems to make sense that when women have children, they spend less time on their own interests and passions and more time caring for their offspring. The second point is making sure they have the financial resources to give their kids a better life.

The majority of the time, they are just beginning their careers and have smaller incomes. So they choose to concentrate on generating income until they have stable finances that allow them to care for their children. Naturally, individuals who have effectively adapted to their surroundings are more likely to be able to provide. For the basic needs and to improve the quality of life for their children. Others, though, have contrasting opinions.

They assert that senior people might face more difficulties. Due to the growing demands of their employment, these individuals weren't able to devote enough time with their families. Which resulted in a lack of intimacy, attachment, or bonding with their kids.

However, it cannot be denied that having children later in life has negative effects on both family and society. The longer couples wait to have children, the more detrimental an effect it will have on both giving birth and raising children.

As a result, their unborn children can be less fit and healthy. Additionally, choosing to have children later typically results in a generational age disparity. This makes it difficult for them to parent their children and communicate with them.

In summary, there are a few reasons why individuals today prefer to have children when they are older. But I thought that this had a more detrimental effect on family life than a beneficial one.

Band 9 IELTS Essay

There has recently been a lot of anxiety in contemporary culture about how many couples put off having children. Before examining the effects of this societal trend on society including family life, a few explanations for it will be offered.

There are a few arguments that may be made to support the tendency in later-in-life pregnancies. First off, the labor market is becoming more difficult, and it is customary for young parents to put off starting. A family in order to spend their first few years of employment building a strong basis for their future profession. Second, it is thought that parents who are older raise their children better. This makes sense, given that older parents are typically richer, more educated, and much more willing to shoulder the burden of raising a child.

The tendency affects society and families in both positive and negative ways. One the one side, kids born to more affluent and seasoned parents can benefit from a better and more thorough education. And as a result, give more to society as adults. Since pregnancy and childcare are not interrupted during the parents' early years of employment, this tendency may also benefit the parents in each home. However, there are significant prenatal and postnatal health concerns for the mother when an elderly couple decides to become parents.

If a complicated issue with a mother's health were to develop, the entire family's existence would've been turned upside down.

As was already established, there are indisputable advantages to delaying delivery. But there are also risks that older parents and society as a whole must be aware of. Indeed, parenting children as adults is more difficult than doing so as children. Not just because the parents' health will deteriorate but also because the youngsters are too young to manage themselves.

As a result, families and society are affected both positively and negatively by the inclination to have kids at later ages. One such explanation is the rivalry of the labor market for young adults.
