Band 8 IELTS Essay

In today’s world, we can see that most of the people choose to move out from the area where they grew up and move out in search of better jobs. In my opinion, it is advantageous for the people who step out of their area and move to other places in search of a better job and setting their career.

The main advantage of this decision is that people moving to other countries all around the world will learn about the cultures of different religions, and will be able to settle down with the people of other religions, beliefs, languages, and the food custom. This will broaden your view point and develop sympathy and respect for other people.

The other advantage of this decision is that individuals can learn the latest techniques in the academic field, such as management, finance, education, etc. later on, these techniques can be used to make advancements in their hometown. I can relate this with a real life example. My best friend who belongs to a village has cleared the exam to continue his higher studies in Agricultural stream from a foreign country. He wants to gather knowledge about the latest agricultural techniques and later on, will change the lifestyle of farmers in his village.

I know there are many disadvantages in this decision. The main problem is that due to the high population in a particular region, there will be difficulty in maintaining the basic needs of a person. This decision also leads to brain drain. This means many people copy others to move to the bigger cities and invest a lot of time and money in settling in the urban areas.

In conclusion, I can say that migration of individuals to other areas is a good decision only if you take it for your betterment instead of copying others. So, if you want to study or get a better job in another area, just focus on your target and it will finally lead to a successful career.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

As we observe, most people struggle through their entire life to set their career, balance the financial condition of their family, and give them a luxurious life. They migrate from one place to another for better job opportunities, improving their living standards, and they live far away for their families to fulfill their basic needs. So, it is really a good decision to migrate from one place to another in search of better job opportunities. There are disadvantages too but these problems can be covered by the benefits of this trend.

People think that working in the large urban areas within the country or traveling to the other nations in search of work will result in higher wages. Moving to other nations is beneficial because of the high currency exchange rates. The main reason behind the migration is not only for employment, they are also in search of better infrastructure services, higher living standards, diversification in life, various employment opportunities, and low crime rate. Additionally, working in MNC’s in elite cities and nations can give us a persistent job opportunity.

There are many problems faced by the people while migrating to other cities or nations. Initially, they will feel like a stranger and take time to settle down in the new environment, new culture, eating habits, different backgrounds and religions. It can be a challenging and difficult decision to stay away from their families and adapt to a new culture. They have to come across the language barriers. It will take time for many people to learn the language of the other place.

Basically after looking at the above mentioned advantages and disadvantages, we can conclude that advantages outweigh the disadvantages. The demerits of migrating from one place to another can be adjusted by looking at the final output. To fulfill their dreams, people have to make balance in their professional and personal life so that all the demerits of migrating can be ignored and they can enjoy their success.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

In the modern era, we have noticed the pace of immigration is growing rapidly. Most teenagers choose to leave their hometown and move to other cities or countries. This trend has positive as well as negative aspects.this discussion goes in both point of view before examining the reason why advantages overweighs disadvantages.

There are two kinds of people living in this society. The first one is those who are born in urban areas and get all kinds of facilities they want. The second one are those who are born in remote areas with insufficient resources, employment, medical facilities, education, etc. The second category of population faces a lot of challenges in their life and decides to migrate from their hometown to urban areas or other countries. They are moving abroad for the purpose of improving their living standard and personal development. Young people who are exceptionally brilliant and proficient but lack the resources to show their talent choose to migrate in search of better job opportunities and to meet the needs of their family members.

On the other hand, along with the positive aspects, there are negative aspects too in migrating from one place to another. Migration of the smart and experienced people to the developed countries may lead to the major problems in the under developing and the developing countries. This is the main drawback of the migration from one place to another. This trend is not good for their mother country. But I believe that this drawback can be overcomed by the fact that people migrating from developing countries to developed countries can complete their studies and can use their knowledge and talent to improve the condition of their own country and their hometown.

It is also said that people who migrate to other areas have to face a lot of challenges such as change in environment, culture, background, eating habits, language, etc. they need time to settle down and have to develop the habit of living far away from their family. But we can take this aspect positively too. They have to face these challenges till they settle down in their life and fulfill the needs of their families.

In the end, we can say that there are both negative as well as positive aspects in this trend but the drawbacks can be overcomed by the benefits of migration. So, here the advantages of migrating from one place to another outweigh the disadvantages of this trend.
