Band 6 IELTS Essay

In today's world, it is undeniably true that media plays a critical role in human life. Newspapers always leave an indelible impression on people's minds and change their perspectives. To be sure, the media has a largely positive influence, but there is also a slight negative effect. In this essay, I will shed some light on the reasons for this as well as discuss its impact before reaching a logical conclusion. Newspapers have a huge influence on people's beliefs and perceptions.

Educating the public about authentic information and opportunities is one benefit of this phenomenon, in my opinion. To begin with, the newspaper is a medium through which people can become acquainted with adequate knowledge of what is going on. A newspaper broadcasts informative news about local and global events, which can broaden readers' perspectives and open their minds. Furthermore, the newspaper benefits people who do not have access to other media platforms and can keep them as informed as others. Adequate evidence is available to support the concept of newspapers influencing people's visions and points of view. That method of news presentation is the best concrete reason. Person is drawn to the highlighted information and attempts to read it thoroughly. Another reason that draws me to patronize is that the media raises awareness. Another reason that draws me to patronize the media is that it raises awareness and conveys a positive message to society. To support my point, I'd like to use an example of rape and murder news that elicits people's emotions and makes them aware of these types of crimes.Last but not least, newsletters serve as a bridge between the government and the general public, as news shows what the government is doing for them. Aside from that, the voice of the people can reach the government via the news writer.

Nowadays, newspapers have made a significant impact on our lives. However, whether or not the press has had a positive impact on people's awareness of what is going on in the world is a contentious issue. This, in my opinion, would have more benefits than drawbacks. There are a number of advantages to the way magazines influence public opinion. To begin with, it is self-evident that the media exposes social problems, monitors them, and pressures the government to address them.

As a result, international news will cover the issue nonstop for 24 hours, putting pressure on the government. Furthermore, newspapers provide a wide range of information, from current events to entertainment news. For example, thousands of news items are posted every day, allowing them to keep up with all of the world's latest events. As a result, the media will help readers become more socially aware. This is not to say that presses would not have a negative impact. Of course, there are times when the press will report negative stories, distorted views and moods, and incorrect information to readers. As newspapers primarily serve their readers, they frequently bombard them with false information to give the impression things are getting worse. As a result, newspapers can profit from readers who were alarmed by the coverage. However, the information that newspapers provide to people is far more important. Finally, in conclusion, the media plays a positive role in how readers access news. Meanwhile, people should avoid being misled by information received from the press. Only by doing so can we ensure that we always get the best. In conclusion, there is no doubt that newspapers can have enormously positive effects on humans by broadening people's perspectives and spreading great ideas.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

Newspapers are particularly useful for people in developing countries or rural areas with intermittent power and internet access. Newspapers have a huge influence on people's beliefs and perceptions. As a result of this phenomenon, people are informed about global events, educated, and given job opportunities. To begin with, a newspaper is a medium through which people can become acquainted with adequate knowledge of what is going on.

Newspapers are effective media platforms for disseminating information about local and international events as well as television, radio, and the internet. Furthermore, people who do not have access to other media platforms can be as well informed as others by reading the newspaper. People in Nigeria, for example, who have a constant power outage, now rely on newspapers as a source of information to keep up with the ongoing pandemic. Second, people have been educated and informed by newspapers. Since the beginning of the pandemic, people have been taught how to wash their hands and avoid direct contact with other people. Finally, jobs and scholarships have been advertised in newspapers, providing people with opportunities. Several businesses have gained customers as well as hired more employees. For example, 56% of NNPC employees said they learned about the job opening through newspaper advertisements. To summarize, newspapers have had a positive impact on people's judgment and beliefs while also creating job opportunities and enlightening the public. People, on the other hand, can be educated and benefit from newspapers because the content is very reliable.News articles are authentic and relevant because they can be sourced from a specific author, unlike posts, videos, and advertisements on the screen. Since authorized publishers are more trustworthy, children are less likely to be misled by inappropriate content or elders duped by fake newspaper posts. In addition, great jobs and scholarships advertised in newspapers can improve readers' career prospects and educational opportunities.
