Topic: Neighbour Speaking Part 1

Question 1: How well do you know your neighbours? 

Answer: I have known my neighbours since I was just 4 years old. I have known them very well. I and my family are immediate neighbour to five different families. The best part of being neighbours with them is that they have more than two children in each family and we all are very good friends.

  • Immediate: nearest in time or relationship 

Question 2: Do you like your neighbours? 

AnswerYes, I like my neighbours very much. They are very kind in nature and have been good to us from the beginning. Moreover, we possess a bond that is more like being a family and they are very positive and polite individuals.

  • possess: to have ownership of something 

Question 3: What do you think of your neighbours? 

AnswerI have mentioned earlier that they are very polite and kind in nature. They have always been there for us in times of necessity. We all try our best to be there for each other whenever they need us. I feel each of our neighbours has a warm heart and is generous towards each other.

  • Generous: showing the ability and readiness to give more of something 

Question 4: How often do you see them? 

AnswerI get to meet my neighbours every day. It mostly happens when I go out to play and call my friends to play with me. Our parents meet together in the evening for small discussions that can be official or for casual conversations. In addition to that, if there is an occasion or a festival, we get to spend most of the time together. 

Question 5: What kind of problems do people sometimes have with their neighbours?

Answer: Living with neighbours does impose some challenges. However, the catch here is they need to be cooperative and understanding which my neighbours are. The problems that I face are loud sounds, quarrels over small and petty issues and a number of other things.

Question 6: How do you think neighbours help each other? 

AnswerIn order to help someone, the best thing that one can do is be during bad times and at the time of necessity. Thus, to help neighbours, we can adapt this nature of being there with them and help them in any means we can. Moreover, we can intend to be a part of their sufferings as well.
