Topic: My education is a hindrance to the process of my learning- Explain this quote by Einstein

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Education is one of life's prerequisites. Education and learning are closely tied to one another. Education is the process of learning something and receiving a diploma. There is no doubt that the sole factor interfering with students' ability. To study is the pressure of their careers, the educational system, and family expectations.

In the modern period, getting an education is a person's top priority, however getting an education requires a person to be committed to studying. Every field has a lot of competition, which puts a lot of pressure on students to pick the right job. However, our educational system also has a serious flaw. For instance, not all occupations require knowledge of History, Physics, or Chemistry, but students are required to acquire these topics. Which creates a challenge in their learning process.

In the modern world, it is a typical occurrence for students to lose interest in their studies as a result of pressure from their families. Because a youngster may conquer the world if he has interest and enthusiasm in what he does. Parents should let their children choose their careers on their own. On the other side, if parents push their kids along a particular path against their will, it may result in long-term frustration and failure. One prominent example is Sachin Tendulkar, the best batsman in the world, who selected cricket as his vocation. Since it was his love and did not stray from it.

With the help of his parents, his dedication and intense passion in the game brought out the best in him. We would have been unable to witness this wonderful master blaster if he had been engaged in any other activity.

To sum up, education is a more focused area of learning because the learning process never ends. Therefore, students should make their preferred career choice without being influenced by society or their parents. Additionally, the government ought to adopt some actions that can be applied in schools and help motivate kids.

Band 8.5 IELTS Essay

Teaching and learning skills and information are important to education. However, the current educational system is subpar and robs youngsters of their learning and unique traits. Many individuals think that learning and information acquisition can only occur through formal education. However, Albert Einstein had a different take on schooling. He claims that learning is more than merely memorization of facts and getting good grades. Learning is about expanding your brain and developing your imagination. It is primarily concerned with practical knowledge and does not only involve the knowledge that is offered or taught by others. It also involves what you learn and make from it. However, the emphasis of the educational system nowadays is not on students' practical knowledge.

Students struggle to pick what to do, what they are best at, and what they should do before entering college. They follow anyone's advice and turn it into their vocation. They don't stop to consider or choose their profession based on their enthusiasm. This is the aspect of the educational system that Albert Einstein disliked. We have entirely lost who we are, what we do best, and what we want to become because we are so caught up in the race of life. One learns to think in a certain way through education.

Creativity and knowledge are being destroyed by education in schools and universities. Education is only as good as the knowledge of the teacher. Due to the lack of practical information provided by our educational system, students have lost their creativity and talent.

To sum up, I completely concur with Albert Einstein that the largest obstacle to my learning has been education. Our educational system requires a lot of changes. There should be more courses on personality development in schools and colleges. As well as weekly workshops where students may put their new knowledge into practice.

Band 9 IELTS Essay

Einstein was one of the many persons who thought that education was a barrier to learning. Einstein was undoubtedly one of the smartest persons to ever live, yet he frequently complained that his education was impeding his ability to learn.

It is not difficult to realize that this quote contains some truth if we closely study it. The typical learning and teaching methods used in schools and universities, in particular, might be detrimental to students' intellectual growth. It attempts to fit everyone into the same mold while stifling imagination and creativity. This is primarily due to the fact that all children are taught the same subjects in schools, regardless of their preferences. The issue with this method is that the majority of these students actually find many of these classes to be useless. For instance, all kids receive extensive instruction in history, geography, science, and mathematics in school.

The only prerequisite for becoming a history teacher is having a fundamental grasp of arithmetic or physics. But all kids are required to study these topics in school. Sadly, this concentration on teaching everything that can be learned precludes pupils. From becoming proficient in the one or two disciplines that they are most interested in.

Additionally, our educational system does not promote original thought or innovation. It is all about memorization by rote. However, this type of education is unable to reveal a person's true talent. Additionally, it likely explains why some of the most prosperous persons in history were college dropouts. Both of the founders of Apple and Microsoft, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, were brilliant students who attended esteemed universities.

However, they left the course in the middle because they realized that the university was stunting their development. They started their own businesses after leaving college, which eventually made them innovators who altered the path of history. Perhaps the Mac or Windows would not have been created if they had continued their studies at the university to finish their program.

In conclusion, Einstein was right when he claimed that his education hindered his ability to learn.
