Music is a Good Way of Bringing People Together IELTS Writing Task 2 consists of three sample answers provided below. Music is a good way of bringing people of different cultures together. I agree with this viewpoint. Music is an art which not only connects different cultures but also people of different areas, perspectives, views and knowledge. It diminishes the individual differences of society. Music is without boundaries, it travels all over the world. People of different cultures not only listen to music of their culture but also love to enjoy music of different cultures.
Language is no longer a barrier in music. Without understanding the language too, one can enjoy the music. The classical music of India is enjoyed by a lot of people. Everybody has a different taste in terms of music. One likes to listen to traditional or religious, other might like to listen to romance. Music also brings people together of different ages. Generally, our elders are fond of music which is soft and has a slow pace. The softness and emotions. While the modern generation are fond of Jazz and party music. But, when one listens to different types of music it connects them all together.
People visit and travel to different countries to just explore the music of that culture. Many people visit India to participate in concerts and singing competitions. Just to experience the voice and magic of music. Some people are of the opinion that music not only involves words but it involves emotions. Emotions which make us experience the life of the singer. Every song tells a story which somehow relates to one or the other. Music is the language which can be heard without speaking.
Music is like a medicine which heals different internal parts of our body. According to psychologists, music can be used as a therapeutic approach towards healing different disorders. Music is a good way of getting a sense of belongingness. It connects different cultures and people of different ages all over the world.

Some people say that music is a good way of bringing people of different cultures and ages together. I totally agreed with this perspective. Music has always been a healer for all of us. It connects us to this world. It is the bridge between two different people of different cultures and ages. Individual difference is not a barrier in music. Music of different cultures might sound different and is of different languages. But, if one connects to it then language is no more a problem. Music is not necessary to be understood, it can be felt. Music also brings together nature and humans. Music is not necessarily the tones we hear. Music of nature like the chirping of birds and voices of rain, leaves falling due to wind, voices of wind etc. It is also called music.
This type of music is magical. It will only be heard by those who are willing to hear it.
Music of different cultures is connecting people through social media nowadays. Social media is a platform where music from one place is reaching the other. Without knowing the lyrics too, people are enjoying it. For example, the music of Dubai and the Arab region is getting famous all over the world. Every song depicts a different emotion.
Songs are the best healer and expresser. It expresses different emotions. For humans it becomes difficult to express what they are feeling. Generally people are seen listening to music when they are unable to figure out what they are feeling.
People of different ages express their fondness of music too. To express this, when the national anthem is played, children, adults and elders all tune to the same emotion. The emotion of patriotism and a sense of belonging to each other with shared history and past. Songs illustrating emotions of sadness and loneliness makes one feel they are not alone. The singer singing the song creates a special bond through his/her music. A bond which might not be seen and can't be broken.
So in conclusion, it is rightly said that music is a good way of bringing people together.

Music for some people is just entertainment. But for some it is a special connection to other cultures. Music depicts the togetherness and unity among all. It makes one learn about different cultures and languages. Usually people can be seen listening to music of a totally different language. Can they understand all languages? No, but they feel a special bond with the particular language and culture. I have heard my friend saying that she loves to listen to Telugu songs. But she can't understand Telugu. It is the love for that culture that makes her feel attached to it.
Music is a language which can be heard without speaking. It is a tool to express what one can't express. Nowadays people are more interested in listening to music of other cultures. It also provides them knowledge. People of different age groups have different choices in music. Generally, people of old age can be heard saying that music was of their time. It is because they connect with the music they hear at their young ages. Same with today's youth, they connect with the party music, romantic music. So, music not only creates a link between different cultures but also creates a link between people of different age groups.
Music is a medium of speaking for those who can't speak. Music can be experienced by those who can't even hear it. Because it is a vibration. Music can be anything. For example, our heart beating follows music, birds chirping, voices of rain. Music is everywhere. One feels connected to his/her Country while hearing the national anthem. It reminds them of the struggle our forefathers had done. Music connected one from the people who are no longer alive.
So in conclusion, it is true that music is a good way of bringing different cultures and people of different ages together.
