Band 6 IELTS Essay

Few people prefer to eat prepared meals to meals that they cook themselves. Meals that are already prepared are those that you consume in restaurants, such as fast food, Italian, Indian, and many more. Food that is prepared at home is known as "home-cooked food." I believe that because homemade food is healthier and lower in calories, eating it should be preferred. Additionally, ready-made foods have more drawbacks than advantages. Starting with the fact that restaurant food is high in calories and contains a lot of saturated fats and oils.

Eating too many fast foods will lead to obesity and other health issues. Burgers, for instance, have more than 500 calories, and consuming too many of these items might have serious negative health effects. Second, compared to handmade cuisine, prepared meals are more expensive. For instance, cooking the same meal at home would be half the expense of eating in a hotel. Additionally, because we are unsure of the cleanliness of the cooking equipment, homemade cuisine is more hygienic than that served in hotels. This suggests that homemade foods should be chosen above prepared foods. On the other side, we can order prepared cuisine online, saving us valuable time. In contrast to eating out, preparing meals at home takes a lot of time and effort. For instance, the Foodpanda app allows you to order meals and have them delivered to your home with just one click, it will save you a lot of time and effort. Additionally, it is impossible to prepare Italian and quick cuisine at home. Because sometimes there isn't the equipment at home to cook different kinds of cuisine. This means that ordering food is the most time-efficient option if you are busy and don't have enough time to prepare it yourself. In summary, individuals prefer eating food from restaurants versus preparing it at home. Because people find it convenient to simply order it.

Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

It is an irrefutable reality that many prefer eating out in today's fast-paced world. As a result, many people nowadays consume far too many prepackaged meals rather than home-cooked cuisine. However, while this trend has its advantages, such as saving time and convenience, it is not without its drawbacks.
On the one hand, the numerous advantages of ready-meals urge the majority of people to use them as a primary source of nutrition. Fast food is often prepared rapidly, allowing for less time spent on preparation and easier serving. For example, in most households, both parents work and are overburdened, so finding enough hours to cook is rare. Ready-made foods are likely to become a better alternative for them in the future. Not only does it save time and energy, but it is also pleasant and handy, both of which are positives.
However, in addition to the benefits described above, dining out has its own set of issues and negative impacts on long-term health. There is no question that processed food has a large number of additives, artificial flavours, and oil to make it more pleasant and tasty, which endangers people's lives. Surprisingly, children are the primary consumers of this sort of cookery. To that end, a large number of people are suffering from a variety of ailments, including obesity, sleep disorders, depression, and so on. Home-cooked meals with fresh vegetables, on the other hand, help them grow physically and mentally. As a result, eating premade meals is dangerous. It may be best consumed on special occasions or in emergency situations.
In short, many countries' attitudes on ordering ready meals have shifted recently. As previously stated, the disadvantages of eating out outweigh the benefits. Buying the ingredients and making cuisine at home, in my opinion, will be the ideal method to ensure our family's well-being with nutritious and delicious meals.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

People's dietary habits have evolved in recent years. Nowadays, many individuals prefer eating prepared foods to home-cooked meals. Restaurant meals, in my opinion, can lead to a number of ailments even though they effectively save people time. There are a few benefits to eating at restaurants, on the one hand. The biggest advantage of eating out is that it takes less time than making food from scratch. Therefore, those who want to eat prepared food do so in part by saving crucial time.

For instance, dining out often takes 30 minutes or slightly longer than cooking and eating at home, which might take up to 2 hours. Additionally, if someone chooses to cook at home, they will need to wash the dishes. In other words, dining at a restaurant helps people manage their busy schedules better. The biggest benefit of eating out is that it allows people to organise their schedules because of the time-saving qualities of restaurant meals. In contrast, quick food, commonly known as restaurant food, has several drawbacks despite the benefits of dining out. These foods are unhealthier because they have more calorie, fat, and carbohydrate content, which is bad for your health. People have a variety of illnesses as a result, including obesity, cardiovascular disorders, and digestive issues. For instance, the vast majority of Americans now like eating at restaurants and fast-food chains. And during the past ten years, there has been a striking rise in the number of obese persons. Therefore, it should go without saying that restaurant food poses a risk to an individual's life. Especially due to the negative health effects. Last but not least, dining out has increased in popularity. To me, the trend's main advantage—time savings—is that it benefits people. The biggest drawback of the new trend is that people frequently experience health concerns like weight and heart-related issues.
