Band 8 IELTS essay

I think that everyone in a country should have the right to medical care. No matter who you are or how you live, everyone should be able to get free health care.

The way people live depends on a lot of things, like their culture, their families, their jobs, and so on. People who work in the IT and BPO industries are usually under a lot of stress when they have to come up with complex business solutions. Most of the time, they don't have time to work out to keep their bodies healthy because they work odd and long hours. Odd work shifts also cause problems for people who work in the manufacturing business. Even though they ruin their healthy lives, they pay taxes to help the rest of society. Why shouldn't they get medical care for free?

Some of my friends say that limiting access to health care based on social habits like smoking, drinking booze, etc., might make people healthier as a whole. They think that if people have these habits, they might be afraid that they won't be able to get free health care, so they might stop. One of the studies done in India has shown that it's not true. A group of young people between the ages of 19 and 30 are asked to fill out this poll. A shocking truth came out of the poll results. People who can't stop doing these things don't care much about their health. Surprisingly, most of the people said that the prices of cigarettes and alcohol should go down.

Thus, the poll demonstrated that modifying the medical system due to unhealthy behaviors will not benefit society. Since we're limiting free health care, I think cigars and alcohol should be taxed heavily to make them more expensive.

I strongly believe a free health care system shouldn't be based on an unhealthy lifestyle. We should recognize this as a mental illness and have the local authorities provide free counseling to improve living conditions.

Band 7.5 IELTS essay

I think that every person should be able to get medical care. Everyone should get free health care, no matter how they live or what the society norms are.

People's living standards are affected by society, family, work, and other things. IT and BPO employees are under a lot of pressure to come up with complex business solutions. They rarely work out because their work hours are uncertain and long. Strange work shifts cause the same problems for people who work in manufacturing. Even though they live in a bad way, taxation is good for society. Why shouldn't they get health care for free?

Some of my friends think that limiting health care based on social habits like drinking and smoking might be good for the health of society as a whole. They think people will stop smoking because they don't want to lose their free health care because of it. An Indian poll said that it was wrong. This poll is for people ages 19 to 30. A shocking truth came out of the poll. They don't care about their health at all. Surprisingly, most people said they thought prices for cigarettes and alcohol should go down. The study showed that making changes to the medical system based on people's bad behavior doesn't help society. Instead of cutting back on free health care, taxes should be high on cigars and booze.

To sum up, a free health care system shouldn't be based on how people live. We should treat this as a mental illness and have local governments offer free therapy to help improve living conditions.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

I believe every citizen is entitled to medical care. Everyone should receive free health care, independent of lifestyle or social norms.

Society, family, work, and other factors affect people's living standards. IT and BPO workers are under pressure to create sophisticated commercial solutions. They rarely exercise due to unpredictable and extended work hours. Strange work shifts cause similar challenges for manufacturing workers. Taxation benefits society despite their unhealthy lifestyle. Why shouldn't they have free healthcare?

Some of my friends say restricting health care based on social habits like smoking and drinking may improve society's health. They think people will quit because they fear losing free medical care due to these habits. It was wrong according to an Indian survey. This survey is on 19–30-year-olds. The survey revealed a startling truth. These addicts don't care about their health. Interestingly, most respondents supported decreased cigarette and liquor pricing. The poll showed that negative behavior-based medical system modifications do not help society. Instead of reducing free health care, cigars and alcohol should be heavily taxed.

To conclude, a free health-care system shouldn't depend on poor lifestyles. We should treat this as a mental illness and have local governments provide free counseling to improve living conditions.
